KVS PGT Selection Process 2025
The selection of candidates for KVS Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) posts is based on a 3-stage selection process: Tier 1, Tier 2, and an Interview. The Tier 1 exam is qualifying in nature, and the final merit list of candidates will be based on a weightage of 85% and 15% to the marks obtained by candidates in Tier-2 and the Interview, respectively.

KVS Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2025
- The KVS Tier 1 Exam will be conducted in OMR-based mode, consisting of 100 MCQ-based based for a total of 300 marks.
- For each correct answer, 3 marks will be given, and there is a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.
- The duration of the exam is 2 hours (120 minutes).

KVS Tier 2 Exam Pattern 2025
- In the KVS Tier 2 Exam, questions will be asked from the subjects for which candidates have applied.
- The exam will be held in pen-and-paper (Descriptive) and OMR-Based mode.
- The time duration of the exam is 2½ hours without any time limit for each part of the test individually.
- In OMR-based objective-type questions, 1 mark will be given for each correct answer, and there is negative marking. 1/4 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.

Interview
