IBPS RRB 2017 Notification

The recruitment notification for IBPS RRB 2017 has been finally released by IBPS. IBPS RRB 2017 Notification has released for IBPS RRB Assistant 2017 and IBPS RRB Officer 2017. According to the notification, a total of 8298 vacancies is to be filled for the post of RRB Office Assistant and a total of 5124 vacancies is to be filled for the post of Officer Grade-I through IBPS RRB exam 2017.

IBPS RRB is conducted every year for selection to the post of both IBPS RRB Assistant and IBPS RRB Officer Cadre in Regional Rural Banks spread across the country. This year, IBPS RRB Assistant 2017 is going to be conducted on 17th, 23rd and 24th September, 2017 (Preliminary Exam). The Mains Exam will be conducted on 12th November 2017.

IBPS RRB Officer Grade 2017 will be conducted tentatively on 9th, 10th and 16th September, 2017 (Preliminary Exam) and the mains exam for the same will be conducted on 5th November 2017.

IBPS RRB 2017 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for the selection to the post of Office Assistant is quite different to that of exam pattern for the selection to the post of Officer Grade. For IBPS RRB Assistant 2017, Exam will be conducted in two phases:

No interview process will be conducted for selecting candidates to the post of Office Assistant. Selection will be made purely on the marks obtained by candidate in his/her Mains Examination.

IBPS RRB 2017 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for IBPS RRB 2017 Exam, a candidate is required to fulfil the given eligibility criteria:

Nationality
  • a Citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or
  • a subject of Bhutan or
  • a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
  • a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

  • Candidates are required to be between 18 years and 28 years
  • Candidates should have not been born earlier than 02-09-1989 and later than 01-09-1999 (both dates inclusive) as on 01-09-2017.
  • Eligibility Criteria
  • Candidates must have completed Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
  • Language Proficiency
  • Candidates applying for the posts of Office Assistant in any particular RRB are required to possess proficiency in the local language of the State/ UT in which the RRB is situated to be eligible for interview.

    IBPS RRB 2017 Application Fee

    A total of Rs. 600/- is to be paid by candidates belonging to General Category as the application fee for both IBPS RRB Assistant 2017 and IBPS RRB Officer 2017. The same amount is narrowed down to Rs. 100/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category.

    IBPS will declare the results after conducting exams for each stage for both Assistant and Officer Grade. Candidates are required to clear the preliminary round in order to give their Mains Exam. Candidates who make it to the final merit list will be offered the call letter to join the organization.

  • Candidates must have completed Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.

  • Candidates applying for the posts of Office Assistant in any particular RRB are required to possess proficiency in the local language of the State/ UT in which the RRB is situated to be eligible for interview.

    IBPS RRB 2017 Application Fee

    A total of Rs. 600/- is to be paid by candidates belonging to General Category as the application fee for both IBPS RRB Assistant 2017 and IBPS RRB Officer 2017. The same amount is narrowed down to Rs. 100/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category.

    IBPS will release the admit card on their official website after the application process is completed.     IBPS RRB 2017 Result

    IBPS will declare the results after conducting exams for each stage for both Assistant and Officer Grade. Candidates are required to clear the preliminary round in order to give their Mains Exam. Candidates who make it to the final merit list will be offered the call letter to join the organization.

    IBPS RRB Cut-Off 2017

    The cut-off for IBPS RRB 2017 will be released once the paper for the same has been conducted. The cut-off for Preliminary Exams and Mains Exam will be different. The cut-off marks will be generated both state wise as well as category wise.
