The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) officially released the IBPS Exam Calendar 2026–27 on 16 January 2026 at ibps.in. This calendar covers all major banking recruitment drives — PO, Clerk (CSA), Specialist Officer (SO), and Regional Rural Banks (RRB) — spanning from August 2026 to January 2027. IBPS PO 2026 Exam Dates

As per the calendar, IBPS will conduct the IBPS PO 2026 Prelims Exam on 22nd & 23rd August 2026 and the Mains Exam on 4th October 2026 for the Probationary Officer posts through the CRP PO/MT-XVI recruitment drive. 

• Notification Release Date- June 2026
• Registration Dates- June-July 2026
• Prelims Exam- 22nd and 23rd August 2026 (Saturday & Sunday)
• Mains Exam- 4th October 2026
• Interview- November 2026

IBPS SO 2026 Exam Dates

The selection process for the IBPS Specialist Officer posts is Prelims, Mains & Interview. The IBPS SO preliminary exam is to be held on 29th August 2026, while the mains is on 1st November 2026. 

IBPS Clerk 2026 Exam Dates

IBPS Clerical Cadre Exam is considered the easiest one among all other banking exams, and this is the reason the number of applicants is higher. IBPS Clerk prelims exam is to be held on 10th & 11th October 2026, while IBPS Clerk Mains on 27th December 2026.

IBPS Exam Calendar 2026 PDF

IBPS conducts the IBPS PO, Clerk, SO and RRB Exams every year to recruit staff assistants and officers in different Public Sector Banks (PSBs) and Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). The official IBPS Exam Calendar 2026 has been released on the official website in pdf format on 16th January 2026. The candidates must note the released IBPS Calendar PDF will not be the final one, as IBPS holds the right to make changes to the exam date as per the requirement. IBPS 2026 Registration Process

1. The registration process will be online only at www.ibps.in and there will be a single registration for both the IBPS Preliminary and Main Examination 2026.
2. The candidates have to pay the required application fees online and only the applications submitted with the fee will be accepted.
3. The candidates have to remember their registration number for the further recruitment process.
4. Candidates will be required to upload the following documents as specified in the advertisement for the IBPS 2026 Exam.
