OICL Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must check the eligibility criteria required in terms of educational qualification and age limit to be eligible to apply for OICL Assistant 2026.
Education Qualification
Candidates must be graduates from a recognised University OR Pass in HSC/Equivalent (XII pass) examination with 60% marks (50% for Ex-servicemen, SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities). The candidate should have passed English as one of the subjects at the SSC/ HSC/ Intermediate/ Graduation level.
Essential: Knowledge of the Regional Language, i.e. Language of the State of the vacancy, is essential.
Age Limit
For OICL Assistant 2026, candidates' minimum age should be 21 years, and the maximum age should not be more than 30 years. Candidates from the reserved category will be provided upper age relaxation as per government rules, and the same has been updated below in the table.

OICL Assistant Vacancy 2026 Application Fee
While submitting the OICL Assistant Application Form, the candidates have to pay the required fee through online mode only. Fee will be paid in online mode by Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/ MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, UPI, SBI challan etc, and once paid will not be refunded at any stage of the selection process.

Candidates will be selected through three stages to get selected for the OICL Assistant (Grade III) vacancies. Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the Online Examination.

OICL Assistant Salary Structure
The pay scale for OICL Assistant is Rs. 22405-1305(1)-23710-1425(2)- 26560-1605(5)-34585-1855(2)-38295-2260(3)-45075-2345(2)- 49765-2500(5)-62265. The starting basic pay is Rs. 22405 which eventually increases with service period and the maximum basic pay can be reached to Rs. 62265.
