OICL Assistant 2025 Eligibility

Education Qualification (as on 31/07/2025)
Candidates must be graduates from a recognised University OR Pass in HSC/Equivalent (XII pass) examination with 60% marks (50% for Ex-servicemen, SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities). The candidate should have passed English as one of the subjects at the SSC/ HSC/ Intermediate/ Graduation level.
Essential: Knowledge of the Regional Language, i.e. Language of the State of the vacancy, is essential.
Age Limit (as on 31/07/2025)
For OICL Assistant 2025, candidates' minimum age should be 21 years, and the maximum age should not be more than 30 years. Candidates from the reserved category will be provided upper age relaxation as per government rules, and the same has been updated below in the table.

Candidates will be selected through three stages to get selected for the OICL Assistant (Grade III) vacancies. Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the Online Examination.

The online application process for OICL Assistant 2025 for 500 Assistant vacancies has been ended. Interested and eligible candidates have submitted their application form through the official website https://orientalinsurance.org.in/. Only the registered candidates will be eligible to appear for prelims exam.
OICL Assistant Vacancy 2025 Application Fee
While submitting the OICL Assistant Application Form, the candidates have to pay the required fee through online mode only. Fee will be paid in online mode by Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/ MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, UPI, SBI challan etc, and once paid will not be refunded at any stage of the selection process.

The pay scale for OICL Assistant is Rs. 22405-1305(1)-23710-1425(2)- 26560-1605(5)-34585-1855(2)-38295-2260(3)-45075-2345(2)- 49765-2500(5)-62265. The starting basic pay is Rs. 22405 which eventually increases with service period and the maximum basic pay can be reached to Rs. 62265.
