OICL Assistant Prelims Exam Pattern

The pattern for Tier I - Preliminary Examination (Online Objective Test) is as follows-

• OICL Assistant Prelims Exam consists of 100 MCQs from Reasoning, English Language, and Numerical Ability subjects.
• Candidates will be provided 1 hour to complete the exam, and there is a sectional timing of 20 minutes for each section.
• For each incorrect answer, ¼th mark will be deducted

OICL Assistant Mains Exam Pattern 2026

The pattern for Tier II - Mains Examination (Online Objective Test) is as follows-

• The OICL Assistant second stage of the exam will be conducted in online mode
• The exam consists of a total of 200 MCQ-based questions for a total of 250 marks.
• Questions asked in the OICL Assistant Mains Exam from the topics, namely Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness, Numerical Ability, and Computer Knowledge.
• For each incorrect answer, ¼th mark will be deducted.
• Candidates will be provided 2 hours to complete the exam and there is a sectional timing as described below.
