➤ Village Administrative Officer (VAO), Junior Assistant (Security), Junior Assistant (Non-Security), Bill Collector, and Draftsmen: The candidate must have passed the SSLC exam with the minimum marks that can grant admission to higher secondary courses.
➤ Typist: The candidate must have passed the SSLC exam with the minimum marks that can grant admission to higher secondary courses and Government Technical Examination in typewriting.
➤ Steno-Typist (Grade – III): The candidate must have passed the SSLC exam with the minimum marks that can grant admission to higher secondary courses, as well as Government Technical Examination both in typewriting and shorthand.
➤ Field Surveyor: For the recruitment to the post of a field surveyor, other things being equal, preference would be given to the candidates who are trained in survey in industrial training institutes.
Typing and Stenography:
➤ Candidates must have the certificate course in computer on office automation awarded for the Typist post and Steno typist to eligible for TNPSC Group IV.

The commission release the Admit Card from the official website a few days before the exam. Candidates have to carry their admit card to the exam centers, otherwise they will not be allowed to appear for the exam. The admit card/ hall ticket is released for those candidates who have successfully submitted the application form of TNPSC Group 4. The admit card of further exams is released for only those candidates who had qualified the previous stage of the exam.
The TNPSC Group 4 Answer Key is released some days after the commencement of exam. The candidates can calculate their marks with the help of answer key and this will help them to get an idea about their stand in the exam. They can start preparation for the next round if they are near the cut off of previous year.
The result of TNPSC Group 4 result is generally released a few month after the release of Answer Key. Generally along with result, the commission release the revised answer key and marks. The your roll number or name appear in the result PDF, you are qualified to appear for the next round of the exam.
After the commencement of the exam process, and deceleration of final result the selected candidates have to appear for the document verification to prove their candidature for the exam.
