JEE Mains 2025

Every year NTA conducts the JEE Mains (Joint Entrance Examination Main) Exam, which is a computer-based national-level engineering exam, conducted for students who are interested in seeking admission to BE/BTech, B.Plan, and BArch courses offered by various JEE Participating institutes across the country. JEE Mains 2025 will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

JEE Mains 2025

The JEE Mains exam is conducted in two sessions every year to get admission to B.tech/ BE courses. NTA or National Testing Agency is the conducting body for the national-level engineering exam known as the JEE Exam. Multiple Institutes/colleges like the National Institute of Technology (NITs), the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and several other state government and private engineering colleges accept the JEE Mains 2025. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2025 Notification will be released in the month of November 2024. The full form of the JEE exam is the Joint Entrance Examination.

JEE Mains 2025 Notification

The National Testing Agency will upload the JEE Mains Notification 2025 in the month of November 2024. The Notification includes all the necessary information about the JEE Mains 2025 (Session 1 and Session 2) like Exam Date, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern, Syllabus, Application Form Process, Form Fee & more. The JEE Mains Exam Date 2025 for Session 1(January 2025) & Session 2 (April 2025) will be given in the article below.

JEE Mains 2025 Dates

The official JEE Mains 2025 Exam Dates for Session 1 and Session 2 are yet to be announced along with NTA Calender 2025 by NTA. The JEE Mains 2025 session 1 exam will be held between January to February 2025, and the Session 2 exam will be held from April 2025.  The candidates can go through the important dates of the JEE Mains 2025 exam for both sessions along with other related dates from the below table:

JEE Mains 2025 Application Form

NTA will activate the online application link for the JEE Mains 2025 Session 1 exam at the official website www.jeemain.nta.ac.in. Depending on the candidate’s preference for Paper 1 or Paper 2, they will soon be fill out the JEE Main 2025 Application Form online and submit the same before the deadline. Subsequently, candidates can appear in both sessions, when they register themselves for session 1. They should also make sure that they meet the JEE Mains 2025 Eligibility Criteria as per requirements.

JEE Mains 2025 Application Form Fee

The application fee for the JEE Mains 2025 exam has to be paid online mode after the successful submission of the JEE Mains 2025 Application Form. The fee can be paid via online payment modes such as credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. An online application confirmation page will be generated after successful payment completion. Steps to Fill the JEE Main 2025 Application Form

Candidates must log in to the official website and fill out the JEE Main 2025 Application Form online once the NTA activates the registration link. Required documents in the specified format are to be uploaded to avoid cancellation. The following are the steps to fill out the JEE Main 2025 Application Form.

Step 1: Go to the official website of NTA, www.jeemain.nta.ac.in, and search for the online registration link available.

Step 2: Now, Click on the “JEE Main 2025 Registration” link displayed on the homepage.

Step 3: Registered candidates will be able to directly log in and fill out the application form.

Step 4: If candidates are registering for the first time, they will have to register first to generate credentials.

Step 5: Required details are carefully filled in to register, after which login ID and password are provided on a mobile number or through mail.

Step 6:Candidates can log in using the details, and fill out the application form with the necessary details – Personal, communication, qualification, etc.

Step 7: Upload scanned images of photograph, signature, thumb impression, etc. as per the specifications mentioned about the format and size.

Step 8: Now the last step is to pay the application fee through the provided payment gateways.

Step 9: A confirmation page will be generated. Take a printout of the confirmation page and submit the application form.

Number of Attempts for JEE Mains

This is to inform all the aspirants of JEE Mains 2025 that the candidates can appear in three consecutive years for JEE Mains Exam 2025. The exam will be held in two sessions. Each student is provided a total of six attempts for the JEE mains Exam 2025.

JEE Mains 2025 Exam Schedule

The JEE Main exam is held twice a year, usually in January and April. Students can choose to take the exam in either or both sessions. Each session spans multiple days with two shifts per day – a morning shift from 9 am to 12 pm and an afternoon shift i.e., 3 pm to 6 pm. The detailed timetable, including specific dates and shift timings, is released well in advance, allowing students to plan their preparation accordingly. Registration for the exam typically opens a few months before the exam dates.

JEE Main 2025 Eligibility Criteria

With the latest information bulletin, the NTA has released the complete guide for JEE Mains Eligibility criteria for the session in January 2025. Candidates must ensure that they meet all the eligibility conditions to appear for the JEE Main exam. The eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2025 are as follows:

  1. Candidates who have passed their Class 12 examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2022, 2023, 2024 are eligible.
  2. Those who are appearing in their Class 12 examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2024 are also eligible to appear for JEE Mains.
  3. Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th /qualifying examination to be eligible.
No. of Attempts
  1. A candidate is allowed to attempt the exam for three consecutive years.
  2. The number of attempts will be two in total a year.

National Testing Agency releases the previous question paper for 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, & so on. Students who are going to appear for the NTA JEE Mains Exam 2025 must look into the JEE Main Previous Question Paper. Appearing students can check the previous year’s question paper at NTA JEE Mains’s official website www.jeemain.nta.ac.in.

JEE Mains Admit Card 2025

The JEE Mains Admit Card 2025 will be released in the month of January 2025. All the candidates who are going to appear for the JEE Mains 2025 Examination must download the admit card. Candidates are advised to read all the instructions given on the admit card very carefully. In case of any discrepancy in details, candidates must contact the official authority immediately. Candidates must carry their JEE Mains admit card to the exam as no candidate will be allowed to appear in the examination without admit card.

JEE Mains 2025 Answer Key

The JEE Mains Answer key 2025 for session 1 will soon be released at the official website www.jeemain.nta.ac.in. The answer keys will be released, and all the students will be able to download the official JEE Mains Response Sheet 2025 by logging in to the NTA website. The candidates also get the facility to challenge the official answer key. Candidates who want to challenge the answer key, need to pay Rs 200 per question. Authority will also release the recorded response and question paper attempted by the candidates two or three days before the announcement of the result.

JEE Main Result 2025

The JEE Mains Result 2025 for the session 1 exams will be released in the month of March 2025. The National Testing Agency will also release the JEE Mains 2025 Toppers Name, Result statistics, Pass percentage & more at its official website i.e.., www.jeemain.nta.ac.in.

JEE Main Cut Off

NTA has released the JEE Main Cut Off for Previous sessions based on the candidate’s category along with the JEE Main Result. The JEE Main Cut-Off is the minimum rank that grabs a seat in the NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs. As NTA JEE Main is the screening test for JEE Advanced, NTA releases the qualifying cutoff required to appear in JEE Advanced along with the result.
