AP ECET 2024: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada finally released the notification for the upcoming AP ECET 2024 at its official website. The Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by JNTU, Kakinada on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). This exam opens the doors for Diploma holders of Engineering Technology/ Pharmacy and BSc Graduates seeking admission lateral entry to the 2nd year of BE/ BTech/ BPharmacy Programmes. All interested and eligible candidates can now apply for the AP ECET 2024 Exam as the exam conducting authorities have started the AP ECET Application Process 2024 on March 15, 2024.

The official notice pdf for the AP ECET 2024 Examination has been released on March 15, 2024 by the exam conducting authorities on its official website. JNTU Kakinada has published the notification along with the application forms for the Andhra Pradesh ECET 2024 Exam. The notice consists of all the information about AP ECET 2024 registration dates, last date of registration, exam dates, etc. The AP ECET 2024 Exam updates have been notified at the official website of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada. 

AP ECET 2024 Exam 

Candidates having diploma degrees willing to pursue BE/BTech/BPharmacy courses from the recognized institutes of Andhra Pradesh will have to appear for the AP ECET 2024 Exam to do so. AP ECET 2024 Exam Date 

The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada has announced the Exam Date for the upcoming Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test 2024 in online mode. As per the official notice, the AP ECET 2024 Exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 08, 2024 (Wednesday) in two different shifts i.e., the first shift from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and the second shift from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. The candidates planning to appear in the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test 2024 are informed that the registrations for the exam have been started on March 15, 2024 at the official website of JNTU i.e., cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ECET.

AP ECET 2024 Registration

The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada released the application forms for the upcoming AP ECET 2024 Exam at its official website i.e., cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ECET on March 15, 2024. Candidates willing to get lateral entry after pursuing their diploma courses from Andhra Pradesh must register for the AP ECET 2024 exam. Candidates who are willing to appear for the entrance exam will have to fill out the AP ECET 2024 application form before the last date i.e., April 15, 2024. The AP ECET 2024 application form comprises various steps such as registration, form filling, uploading documents, and fee payment.

Steps to Fill the AP ECET 2024 Application Form

Candidates willing to appear for the AP ECET 2024 exam can refer to the steps mentioned below to fill out their application forms easily.

1. Visit the official website at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ECET or by clicking on the link given above.
2. Candidates will first have to pay the AP ECET 2024 Application Fee and check their payment status.
3. After the successful payment of the AP ECET 2024 Application Fee, candidates can click on the “Fill Application” link to fill out the form.
4. Fill in all the details for the application form such as Personal details, academic details, category, details of Common Entrance Test, permanent address, etc.
5. Upload the scanned documents like photographs and signatures in the specified format.
6. Candidates will be required to read the declaration at the end and select the check box to complete the application form.
7. An Edit option will appear on the screen, once the application form is submitted.
8. Candidates can correct the mistakes by clicking on the Modify button and then clicking on Confirm after verifying
9. Candidates must take a printout of the application form and fee receipt for future reference.

AP ECET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the AP ECET 2024 exam are prescribed by the APSCHE. The candidates failing to comply with the parameters set by the authorities for the candidates to be eligible for appearance-approved in the state-level common entrance test, will not be permitted to attempt the AP ECET 2024 exam. The eligibility criteria for the AP ECET 2024 exam will be based on various parameters such as Nationality, Qualification, Age criteria, and marks. 

AP ECET 2024 Exam Pattern

The official exam conducting authorities will soon release the AP ECET 2024 Exam Pattern along with the notification brochure. The AP ECET 204 Exam will be conducted online mode only. The Exam pattern will help the students strategize their preparations in the right direction. The AP ECET 2024 exam pattern will contain the details of the type and pattern of questions to be asked in the upcoming exam. The exam pattern will be different for the candidates willing to pursue engineering from those willing to pursue Pharmacy. The AP ECET 2024 Exam Pattern will be released separately for Engineering and Pharmacy courses.

AP ECET 2024 Exam Pattern for Engineering

Candidates willing to pursue engineering courses will be asked questions from 4 sections namely- physics, chemistry, maths, and all engineering branches. There will be a total of 200 questions and the duration of the exam will be 3 hours.

AP ECET 2024 Exam Pattern for Pharmacy

Candidates willing to pursue a Pharmacy course will be asked questions from sections such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmacology. The full marks of the paper will be 200 and the candidates will have 3 hours to attempt the paper.

AP ECET 2024 Hall Ticket

The exam authorities will release the AP ECET 2024 Hall Ticket in online mode at the official website www.cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ECET. The registered candidates will be required to enter their application number and password in the required fields to download their AP ECET Hall Ticket 2024. Candidates who will appear for the exam will have to carry a hard copy of the AP ECET admit card 2024 along with a valid ID proof to the exam centre.
