This test is referred to as the BITSAT short for “Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT)”.This exam will be conducted online and is attempted by approximately 3 lakh students every year. BITSAT 2026 will be held in 2 sessions. The candidates may choose to appear for both sessions.

BITSAT 2026 Exam Dates 

The BITSAT 2026 exam dates have been released by BITS Pilani, the exam conducting body. According to the notification released by the authorities, the BITSAT Session 1 exams 2026 are expected to be conducted in May 2026 whereas the Session 2 exams will be conducted in June 2026. Both the BITSAT session exams will be held as a computer-based test, the candidates will further be shortlisted for admissions. A candidate may opt for Session 1 or BOTH. A candidate may opt to appear twice, even at the time of the first application. For a candidate who has appeared twice in BITSAT-2026, and then seeks admission to any of the First Degree programs (B.E., M.Sc., B.Pharm.) in BITS Pilani, the higher of the two scores will be considered for admission.

BITSAT 2026 exam is going to be conducted in 2 sessions. Admissions will be granted based on a computer-based Online Test conducted by BITS Pilani. The exam dates for BITSAT 2026 session 1 and session 2 exams have been released. Step I: Visit the official website of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, i.e., www.bitsadmission.com.

Step II: On the homepage look for the link that says “BITSAT Registration 2026”, and click on it.

Step III: Fill in all the details asked such as name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email ID, etc,

Step IV: The authorities will send the login ID and password to the registered email ID of the candidate.

BITSAT 2026 Application form 

After completing all these steps, the candidates will have to follow the steps mentioned below:

Step V: Now the candidates will have to fill out the BITSAT 2026 application form by providing all the personal information, educational details, qualifying exam, and contact details.

Step VI: After filling in all the details carefully, click on the submit button. The application number will be generated.

Step VII: At the end, the candidates will have to pay the application fee through net banking or credit card/debit card.

Photograph and Signature

BITSAT 2026 Application Fee

The Birla Institute of Technology and Science has released the application form fee for the upcoming Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) 2026.

BITSAT 2026 Exam Pattern

The BITSAT Exam Pattern 2026 is prescribed by BITS Pilani. All questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions). The paper will consist of 4 parts and the B.Pharm students will have to solve the biology questions from the 4th part.

1. Each question has a choice of four answers, only one being the correct choice.
2. Each correct answer fetches 3 marks, while each incorrect answer has a penalty of 1 mark (-1 mark).
3. No marks are awarded for questions not attempted.
4. While the candidate can skip a question, the computer will not allow the candidate to choose more than one option as the correct answer.

BITSAT 2026 Slot Booking

The BITSAT 2026 Slot Booking process is expected to be held in the month of May 2026 for the session 1 exam. Through this process, candidates will be given the facility to choose their preferred exam dates and slot timings. The BITSAT 2026 Slot Booking Process will be activated for a specific period, so the candidates must book their slots within the stipulated time. The direct link for the same shall be shared on the official website by the exam authorities.

BITSAT 2026 Result

The BITS Pilani is expected to announce the BITSAT 2026 Result for session 1 in the month of June 2026. The results will be announced in online mode at the official website www.bitsadmission.com. Once announced, candidates will be able to access their BITSAT 2026 Result by logging in to the official portal using their respective application number and password. The BITSAT 2026 result will include the total marks and rank secured by each candidate.
