BITSAT 2024: BITS Pilani has started the registration process for the BITSAT Session 1 Exam on January 15, 2024. Interested candidates can finally register themselves for the BITSAT Session 1 Exam 2024 by visiting the official website of BITS i.e., www.bitsadmission.com. The last date for BITSAT 2024 Registration is April 11, 2024. BITSAT 2024 exam is conducted for students willing to pursue any of the Integrated First Degree (FD) programs of BITS Pilani from its Campuses at Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad for the academic year 2024. This test is referred to as the BITSAT short for “Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT)”.This exam will be conducted online and is attempted by approximately 3 lakh students every year. BITSAT 2024 will be held in 2 sessions. The candidates may choose to appear for both sessions.

BITSAT 2024 Exam Overview

BITSAT 2024 exam is going to be conducted in 2 sessions. Admissions will be granted based on a Computer based Online Test conducted by BITS Pilani.  The exam dates for BITSAT 2024 session 1 and session 2 exams have been already released. A candidate may opt to appear twice, even at the time of the first application. Such a candidate chooses one slot from the first set of dates and another from the second. BITSAT 2024 Application Form

The Birla Institute of Technology and Science has started the application process for the upcoming BITSAT 2024 Examination on 15th January 2024. The candidates planning to appear for the BITSAT 2024 can check the BITSAT 2024 Application forms in online mode at the official website of the BITS i.e., www.bitsadmission.com. This is to inform all the students that the last date for the BITSAT 2024 Application process is 11th April 2024. Steps to Download BITSAT 2024 Application Form

Step I: Visit the official website of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science i.e., www.bitsadmission.com.

Step II: On the homepage look for the link that says “BITSAT Registration 2024”, and click on it.

Step III: Fill in all the details asked such as name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email ID, etc,

Step IV: The authorities will send the login ID and password to the registered email ID of the candidate.

After completing all these steps the candidates will have to follow the steps mentioned below:

Step V: Now the candidates will have to fill out the BITSAT 2024 application form by providing all the personal information, educational details, qualifying exam, and contact details.

Step VI: After filling in all the details carefully click on the submit button. The application number will be generated.

Step VII: At the end, the candidates will have to pay the application fee through net banking or credit card/debit card.

Photograph and Signature

Step VIII: After filling out the application fee the candidates will have to upload their photographs and signatures. The authority has also released the size and format of the photograph and signature that are to be uploaded.

Final Submission

Step IX: Before the final submission the candidates must go through all the details provided on the BITSAT 2024 application form.

Step X: Download the BITSAT 2024 application form and do not forget to take a printout of it for further use.

BITSAT 2024 Important Dates

BITSAT 2024 Exam Dates Out

The BITSAT 2024 exam dates were released by BITS Pilani, the exam conducting body. According to the notification released by the authorities, the BITSAT Session 1 exams 2024 are scheduled to be conducted from 21st May to 26th May 2024 whereas the Session 2 exams will be conducted from 22nd June to 26th June 2024. Both the BITSAT session exams will be held as a computer-based test the candidates will further be shortlisted for admissions. A candidate may opt for Session 1 or BOTH. A candidate may opt to appear twice, even at the time of the first application. For a candidate who has appeared twice in BITSAT-2024, and then seeks admission to any of the First Degree programs (B.E., M.Sc., B.Pharm.) in BITS Pilani, the higher of the two scores will be considered for admission.

BITSAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

BITSAT 2024 Exam Pattern

The BITSAT Exam Pattern 2024 is prescribed by BITS Pilani. All questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions). The paper will consist of 4 parts and the B.Pharm students will have to solve the biology questions from the 4th part.

1. Each question has a choice of four answers, only one being the correct choice.
2. Each correct answer fetches 3 marks, while each incorrect answer has a penalty of 1 mark (-1 mark).
3. No marks are awarded for questions not attempted.
4. While the candidate can skip a question, the computer will not allow the candidate to choose more than one option as the correct answer.

BITSAT 2024 Slot Booking

The BITSAT 2024 Slot Booking process has been scheduled to start from 6th May 2024 onwards for the session 1 exam. Through this process, candidates will be given the facility to choose their preferred exam dates and slot timings. The BITSAT 2024 Slot Booking Process will be activated for a specific period, so the candidates must book their slots within the stipulated time.
