National Testing Agency conducts the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) every year for candidates willing to pursue M Pharma Course. GPAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The GPAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria are specified by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The candidate must satisfy the eligibility requirements prescribed by (NTA) to be successfully able to appear for the exam.  There is no age restriction for candidates willing to participate in the exam. The detailed information about eligibility will be as follows

GPAT 2026 Admit Card

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the admit cards for the upcoming GPAT 2026 Examination by the second week of May 2026. The admit cards will be made available in online mode, no hard copy of the GPAT Admit card has been provided. Once the admit cards are released, candidates will be able to download them by visiting the official website  www.gpat.nta.nic.in. GPAT 2026 Registration

All the students who want to pursue postgraduate courses in Pharmacy from recognized AICTE AICTE-approved institutions will first have to register successfully. NTA will activate the registration link on the official website in April 2026. NTA also provided the application correction window facility for the applicants to edit or correct their application forms just once. Various government-funded and Private institutes will be participating institutes in GPAT 2026. The candidates will be able to select their preferred choices of college. Seats will be allocated in the GPAT 2026 participating institutes based on the candidate’s merit, preferences, and availability of seats.

Steps to apply for GPAT 2026 Exam

The GPAT 2026 application form will be filled out only through “Online” mode at www.gpat.nta.nic.in. Candidates not complying with the instructions of the GPAT 2026 application form shall be disqualified. Follow the steps given below to fill out the GPAT 2026 Application form. The GPAT 2026 Application form-filling process would be done in 3 parts- Registration and Application form.

Part A- GPAT 2026 Candidate Registration 

Candidates appearing for the GPAT 2026 exam for the first time must register themselves and the candidates who have already generated the registration number must proceed to fill up the GPAT 2026 Application form. Follow the steps given below for GPAT 2026 New candidate registration.

  1. Visit the GPAT 2026 official website at www.gpat.nta.nic.in.
  2. Click on New Registration.
  3. Fill in all the details asked in the GPAT 2026 registration form.
  4. Register with your Email Id and Mobile No. and note down system-generated Application Numbers.
  5. After rechecking the details, click on submit.
  6. Note the registration number which shall be used as GPAT 2026 user Id.

PART B- GPAT 2026 Application Form

After completing the GPAT 2026 registration process, candidates shall move to the next step of filling out the GPAT 2026 application form filling. GPAT 2026 application forms must be filled out very carefully only by the registered candidates to avoid the chances of a form rejection. GPAT 2026 application form could be filled out by following the given steps.

  1. Log in to the official website at www.gpat.nta.nic.in.
  2. Fill out all of the information such as the applicant's name, father's name, active phone number, correspondence address, permanent address, email address, and other necessary details.
  3. A passport-size image of the candidate, as well as his or her signature, should be provided in the prescribed size and format.
  4. Upload the required documents in accordance with the GPAT 2026 application form instructions.
  5. Candidates must pay the GPAT 2026 application fee via online mode after uploading the documents.
  6. Candidates must ensure to keep a copy of the GPAT 2026 application form for future reference.

GPAT 2026 Exam Pattern 

The detailed GPAT 2026 Exam Pattern has been discussed in the official information brochure released by NTA. According to the official notice, the GPAT 2026 exam will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and the medium of the paper will be English only. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours and the GPAT 2026 exam will only consist of multiple-choice questions. The total marks for the test will be 500. 

  1. Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks.
  2. Each incorrect answer will result in a deduction of 1 mark.
  3. Unanswered/un-attempted will be given no marks.
