LIC Assistant Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

Nationality: A candidate must be a citizen of India.

LIC Assistant Educational Qualification: A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute.

LIC Assistant Age Limit: The age of the candidate must not be less than 18 years and must not exceed 30 years.

Age Relaxation:

Relaxations in upper age limit for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/Other Backward Community(OBC)/ Ex-Servicemen/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) /Confirmed LIC employees shall be as under :

LIC Assistant 2023 Selection Process

LIC Assistant selection will be done on the basis of a two-phase examination i.e. Preliminary Examination (Phase I) and Main Examination (Phase II) followed by Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination. Marks obtained in the Main Examination only will be considered for the final merit listing of candidates (Final Selection).

LIC Assistant 2023 Exam Pattern

LIC Assistant exam will be conducted in two phases: Prelims and Mains for which the complete exam pattern has been discussed below- 

LIC Assistant 2023 Prelims Exam

The Written Exam will contain 3 sections namely: Reasoning, English Language / Hindi Language and Quantitative Aptitude. The total duration of the written exam will be 1 hour or 60 minutes. 0.25 marks will be deducted if a candidate attempts a question wrong. Preliminary Examination consisting of objective tests will be conducted online. The test will have three sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

The main examination will consist of objective tests for 200 marks. The objective test will be online. The objective test will have separate timing for every section.

• The candidates are required to qualify for each of the Tests. Candidates will have to qualify in each of the objective tests. 
• There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests for the main examination. ¼ marks will be deducted for each wrong answer
• The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase I) will not be added to the selection and the final selection will be based on the marks obtained by a candidate in Main Examination (Phase II).

LIC Assistant 2023 Salary

As per the previous year's notification, the basic pay of a LIC Assistant is Rs. 27,840/- per month in the scale of Rs.27,840-840(1)-28,680-915(2)-30,510-1030(5)-35,760-1195(2)-38150-1455(3)-42,515-1510(2)-45,535-1610(5)-53,585 and other admissible allowances as per rules. The Assistant enjoys other perks and remuneration apart from the Basic Pay offered such as House Rent Allowance, Travel Allowance and Dearness Allowance. The total amount/gross salary of a LIC Assistant thus ranges to Rs. 38000/- to Rs. 40000/- per month.-

LIC Assistant 2023 Admit Card

The admit card for LIC Assistant will be released after the application process for the same has ended. The admit card for LIC Assistant Mains exam will be issued to candidates who qualify for the Preliminary exam of the LIC Assistant Exam.

LIC Assistant 2023 Result 

The results for the LIC Assistant exam will be released after each phase of the exam is completed. The result of the Phase I exam will be declared first followed by the result of Phase II. The merit list will be prepared in descending order of the marks obtained by candidates in the main exam.

LIC Assistant 2023 Cut-Off

LIC Assistant Cut-Off will be declared once the examination for the same has been conducted. But LIC provides minimum qualifying marks for its prelims exam which is given below:

LIC Assistant exam dates will be released along with its official notification.

All tests are bilingual, i.e. available in both English and Hindi.

There is no negative marking in Preliminary exam and English/Hindi Language test will be of qualifying nature and marks in Language section will not be counted for ranking. There will be a negative marking for wrong answers in mains exam and and ¼ marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. One-fourth of the total marks will be deducted for the question marked wrong by the candidate.
