To apply for the LIC AAO Recruitment 2024 Exam, the candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria which are mentioned below:

LIC AAO Age Limit

The age of the candidate must not be less than 21 years and must not exceed 30 years. The minimum age of a candidate shall be 21 years (completed). The maximum age shall not be more than 30 years (candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1993 and not later than 01.01.2002 both days inclusive only are eligible) Relaxations in upper age limit for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/Other Backward Community(OBC)/ Ex-Servicemen/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) /Confirmed LIC employees shall be as under :

LIC AAO Educational Qualification

A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute. The educational qualification mentioned should be from a University/Institute/ Board recognized by Govt. of India / approved by the Government Regulatory bodies and the result should have been declared on or before 01.01.2024. Proper documents from Board / University for having declared the result on or before 01.01.2024 have to be submitted at the time of the interview.

LIC AAO Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

LIC AAO Selection will be done on the basis of three-phase examination i.e. Preliminary Examination (Phase I), Main Examination (Phase II) and Interview followed by Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination. Marks obtained in the Main Examination and Interview will be considered for the final merit listing of candidates (Final Selection).

LIC AAO Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern

LIC AAO 2024 will be conducted in two phases: Prelims and Mains.

LIC AAO Prelims Exam 2024

The Written Exam will contain 3 sections namely: Reasoning, English Language Language, and Quantitative Aptitude. The total duration of the written exam will be 1 hour or 60 minutes. The Preliminary Examination consisting of an objective test will be conducted online. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answer. The test will have three sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

Note: English Language Test will be of qualifying nature and marks in the Language section will not be counted for ranking.

LIC AAO Mains Exam 2024

The main examination will consist of objective tests for 200 marks. The objective test will be online. The objective test will have separate timing for every section.

1. Descriptive tests of the English Language etc. will be of qualifying nature and the marks in the English Language will not be counted for ranking.

2. The candidates are required to qualify for each of the Tests. Candidates will have to qualify for each of the objective tests. 
3. There will be no negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests for the main examination. 
4. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase I) will not be added for the selection and the final selection will be based on the marks obtained by a candidate in Main Examination (Phase II) marks obtained in the Interview.

LIC AAO Recruitment 2024 Syllabus

The Syllabus for LIC AAO 2024 exam includes Reasoning, Quantitative, General/Financial Awareness, English language, Professional knowledge, and current affairs. To get selected for the interview round, the candidate needs to qualify Mains exam with a minimum cut-off for which the candidate must be familiar with the subject-wise syllabus.

LIC AAO Recruitment 2024 Salary

The salary structure for LIC AAO has also been changed this year. The basic pay of Rs. 53600/- per month in the scale of Rs. 53600- 2645(14) –90630– 2865(4) –102090 and other admissible allowances as per rules. Total emoluments at the minimum of the scale inclusive of House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance etc wherever admissible depending upon the classification of the city will be approximate Rs 92870/- per month in A-Class city.
