The online registration procedure for RRB JE Recruitment 2026 has been started at the official website, https://www.rrbapply.gov.in/, on 14th August 2026. Candidates who hold the required educational qualification must submit their online application forms on the official RRB website. What is RRB JE Selection Process?

The RRB JE 2026 recruitment is expected to follow the same 4-stage selection process used in previous cycles:

Stage 1- 1st Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-1) – Screening Stage

Stage 2- 2nd Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-2) – Main Technical Stage

RRB JE 2026 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for RRB JE 2026 for CBT 1 and CBT 2 Exam, as declared by the Railway Recruitment Board is as follows- 

  • Negative marking: -⅓ mark
  • Duration: CBT 1- 90 minutes and CBT 2- 120 minutes.
  • Number of Question: In CBT 1, there will be 100 questions, and in CBT 2, there will be 150 questions.

RRB JE 2026 Cut Off

RRB releases the minimum qualifying marks and cut-off after the completion of CBT-I. The expected minimum qualifying marks are 40% for general, 30% for OBC and SC, and 25% for ST category candidates. Qualifying marks are calculated out of 100 and 150 for CBT-I and CBT-II, respectively. Have a look at the cutoff marks for the last exam held in 2025.
