RRB JE Document Verification & Medical Standards

Since RRB JE has no interview or aptitude-round equivalent to RRB ALP's CBAT, the final selection stages after CBT-2 are Document Verification and Medical Examination:

  • Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted based on CBT-2 marks must produce original certificates for educational qualification, age proof, category, and identity, along with photocopies as specified in the notification.
  • Medical Examination: RRB JE posts require candidates to meet Medical Standard specifications applicable to Technical/Engineering categories, including visual acuity and other physical fitness benchmarks defined by Indian Railways. Candidates should review the detailed medical standards in the official notification well before the exam, since certain vision or hearing thresholds can affect eligibility for specific posts.
