RRB JE Admit Card 2026 Out, Hall Ticket Direct Download Link

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released RRB JE Admit Card 2026 for all candidates appearing in the CBT 1 Exam under CEN 04/2026. The admit card download link is now avaialble at www.rrb.indianrailways.gov.in and other regional websites. Candidates need their registration number and password (date of birth) to download the admit card.  

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is conducting the CBT 1 exam on 27, 28 October & 2 November 2026 in three shifts each day across multiple exam cities. The exam is for 4487 vacancies for Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) under CEN 04/2026. The admit card shows your exam centre address, shift, reporting time and gate closing time.

RRB JE Admit Card 2026 Out 

Lakhs of candidates who applied for CEN 04/2026 can now download their admit cards through online mode only, and no SMS or email are to be sent to candidates. Candidates must make sure to carry valid ID proof along with a printout of the admit card to their exam centres for verification purposes, as no entry into the exam hall will be permitted without it.

How to Download Railway RRB Junior Engineer Admit Card?

To download the admit card/hall tickets for the RRB JE CBT 1 Exam, the candidates need the above-mentioned login details.

1. Go to the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB): www.rrb.indianrailways.gov.in.
2. On the homepage, click on “Download Junior Engineer CBT 1 Hall Ticket CEN 04/2026”.
3. A login page opens on the screen; enter your registration number and date of birth as per the admission certificate.
4. Fill in the CAPTCHA code carefully.
5. After clicking on the “Submit” button, your RRB JE Admit Card appears on the screen.
6. Check your name, photo, exam date, shift, reporting time and centre address.
7. Download the PDF and take two printouts on A4 paper.

RRB JE Admit Card 2026: Login Problems and Solutions

Candidates may occasionally face difficulties while downloading the RRB JE CBT 1 hall ticket. Before contacting the Railway Recruitment Board, check the following possible solutions.

1. RRB JE Admit Card Link Is Not Showing

Admit cards are released according to the candidate's examination date. If the link is unavailable, check the official portal again and confirm whether the hall ticket for your scheduled date has been activated.

2. Registration Number or Password Is Incorrect

Enter the registration number exactly as provided during the application process. Check the password or date-of-birth format displayed on the login page, including any separators or formatting requirements.

3. Admit Card Page Is Not Loading

A high number of candidates accessing the portal simultaneously may cause delays. Refresh the page after a short interval, use an updated browser, or try accessing the portal from another device.

4. RRB JE Hall Ticket PDF Is Not Downloading

After the admit card appears on the screen, use the download or print option. Check your device's download folder and ensure sufficient storage is available. If the PDF does not open, try a PDF reader or download the file again.

5. Photograph, Name or Other Details Are Incorrect

Do not ignore a mismatch in your personal or examination details. Keep a copy of the downloaded hall ticket and contact the concerned RRB through its official contact channel for clarification before the examination.

6. Forgot Registration Number

Check the registration confirmation email, SMS messages and application records. If the official portal provides a registration-number recovery option, follow its instructions to retrieve your details. Never share your password or one-time password with an unofficial agent.

RRB JE CBT 1 Shift-Wise Timings

RRB JE CBT 1 is scheduled for three shifts of 1.5 hour each day. Your shift and reporting time are printed on your admit card.

SC/ST Free Travel Authority

SC/ST candidates who have opted for free travel in the application, along with the e-call letter, can download the Free Travel Authority (Sleeper Class). It provides free train travel from the nearest station to the city of the exam and back. While travelling, carry printed travel authority along with a caste certificate, as TTE may ask for both.

RRB JE CBT 1 Exam Structure

The RRB JE CBT 1 exam is a screening test consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks.

• Mode of Exam: Computer-Based Test (CBT) (Online)
• Duration: 90 minutes (120 minutes for eligible candidates using a scribe)
• Marking Scheme: +1 mark for every correct answer
• Negative Marking: -1/3rd (0.33) mark for every wrong answer
• Nature of Test: Screening in nature; marks scored in CBT 1 are not counted for the final merit list (which is based on CBT 2).
• Minimum Qualifying Marks:
  • Unreserved (UR) / EWS: 40%

RRB JE Exam Day Guidelines

Documents to Carry

• Printed copy of the RRB JE admit card (e-call letter)
• Original valid photo ID: Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID, Passport or Driving Licence
• Two passport-size photographs, the same as uploaded in the application form
• Travel authority and caste certificate (SC/ST candidates using free travel)

Items Not Allowed

Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, books, notes, wallets, handbags, jewellery and metallic items are not allowed. Possessing a mobile phone or any wireless device, even switched off, can lead to cancellation of candidature.

Other Instructions

1. Check your exam centre location a day before the exam and plan your travel.
2. Reach the centre by the reporting time on your admit card.
3. Aadhaar-based biometric verification is done before entry. Authenticate your Aadhaar on www.rrbapply.gov.in beforehand for faster entry.
4. Follow any photo-pasting instruction printed on the admit card.
5. Wear simple clothes and avoid metal accessories to speed up frisking.
