Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) has relased RRB JE Answer Key 2026, along with the Question Paper and Responses Sheet PDF at the official website https://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/. The answer key has been provided with all the correct answers for the questions that were asked in the exam, with the help of which candidates who appeared can cross-check their marked answers with the correct ones and calculate their tentative scores.

RRB JE Answer Key 2026 Out

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has conducted the RRB JE 2026 CBT 1 Exam on 19th, 20th, and 25th February 2026, to shortlist eligible candidates for the CBT 2 Exam. Through the exam, RRB aims to fill a total of 2585 vacancies for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical Supervisor & Metallurgical Assistant posts in Indian Railways. Lakhs of candidates appeared in the exam and can now check the official answer key and response sheet PDFs.

Firstly, the board has released a provisional CBT 1 Answer Key, providing an opportunity for candidates to challenge the answer key if they find any answer incorrect in the answer key. The window to raise objections is open from 5th to 11th March 2026 (11:59 pm).

The link to download the RRB JE CBT 1 Answer Key 2026 has been activated on 5th March 2026 by the Railway Recruitment Board at their official website https://rrbcdg.gov.in/ and other regional websites.  Candidates must use the correct marking scheme to calculate their tentative score and can predict their qualifying status before the release of the results. The candidates who appeared in the CBT 1 Exam held on 19th, 20th, and 25th February 2026, can download their response sheets.

Candidates can follow the steps below to download the RRB Junior Engineer CBT 1 Answer Key & Response Sheet from the official RRB website.

1. Visit the official website of your respective regional Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
2. On the homepage, look for the link related to the " Junior Engineer Answer Key" under "Latest Announcements" or "Important Links" and click on it.
3. A new login page appears on the screen.
4. Enter the login credentials, i.e., Registration Number and Date of Birth.
5. After providing valid login details, click on the “Login” tab.
6. The RRB JE CBT 1 Answer Key appears on the screen.
7. Download the answer key and response sheet PDF and cross-check the questions you attempted by you.

RRB JE Answer Key Raise Objection Process

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) also provides an opportunity for candidates to submit objections, if any, to the RRB JE Answer Key. The objection to the RRB JE CBT 1 Answer Key can be submitted by 11th March 2026  (11:59 pm) with a payment per question. In case the objection raised is found to be correct, the fee paid against such valid objections shall be refunded to the candidate. The objection fee can be paid online payment gateway through a Debit Card/ Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking. Objections after the stipulated time frame will not be accepted under any circumstances.

RRB JE CBT 1 Exam Marking Scheme 

You can calculate your marks and check how much you can expect in the RRB  JE Exam with the help of the RRB JE Answer Key 2026 and follow the RRB JE marking scheme. In the CBT 1 exam, 1 mark will be provided for each correct question, and for each incorrect answer, there is a penalty of ⅓ mark.
