Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) is going to conduct the RRB JE CBT 1 Exam 2026, for which the RRB JE Answer Key 2026, along with the Question Paper and Responses Sheet PDF, will be released in the 1st week of March 2026 at the official website https://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/. The answer key will provide all the correct answers for the questions that will be asked in the exam, with the help of which candidates can cross-check their marked answers with the correct ones and calculate their tentative scores.

RRB JE Answer Key 2026

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has scheduled the RRB JE 2026 CBT 1 Exam for CEN 05/2025 to be conducted on 19th, 20th, and 25th February 2026, to shortlist eligible candidates for the CBT 2 Exam. Through the exam, RRB aims to fill a total of 2585 vacancies for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical Supervisor & Metallurgical Assistant posts in Indian Railways. Candidates must use the correct marking scheme to calculate their tentative score and can predict their qualifying status before the release of the results.

Firstly, the board will release a provisional RRB JE CBT 1 Answer Key 2026, providing an opportunity to candidates to raise an objection if they find any answer incorrect in the answer key. Candidates will also have to provide valid proof to justify their objection within a given time frame.

The link to download the RRB JE Answer Key 2026 will be activated in the 1st week of March 2026 by the Railway Recruitment Board at their official website https://rrbcdg.gov.in/ and other regional websites. Steps to Download RRB JE CBT 1 Answer Key 2026

Candidates can follow the steps provided below to download the Answer Key & Response Sheet from the official website of RRB.

1. Visit the official website of your respective regional Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
2. On the homepage, look for the link related to the " Junior Engineer Answer Key" under "Latest Announcements" or "Important Links" and click on it.
3. A new login page appears on the screen.
4. Enter the login credentials, i.e., Registration Number and Date of Birth.
5. After providing valid login details, click on the “Login” tab.
6. The RRB JE Answer Key appears on the screen.
7. Download the answer key and response sheet PDF and cross-check the questions attempted by you.

RRB JE Answer Key: Raise Objection Process

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will also provide an opportunity for candidates to submit objections, if any, to the RRB JE Answer Key. The objection to the RRB JE CBT 1 Answer Key can be submitted within a given time frame with a payment per question. In case the objection raised is found to be correct, the fee paid against such valid objections shall be refunded to the candidate. The objection will be paid online payment gateway through a Debit Card/ Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking. Objections after the stipulated time frame will not be accepted under any circumstances. 

RRB Junior Engineer Answer Key Raise Objection Process

• Go to the official website of RRB.
• Click the ‘RRB JE objection tracker’ link on the homepage
• Fill in the objection forms by clicking on the "Question they want to raise an objection for any question they can click on the "Raise Objection" button given near the question.
• This will open an objection page where they can choose the type of objection from the drop-down option and fill in the supporting documents. (Reference/Explanation).
• Candidates can raise objections for only one question at a time and make the payment.
• Click on the "Pay Now" button to make the payment for the selected objection. A payment of Rs. 50/- has to be made for every objection raised
• On completion of successful payment, the objection will get recorded and will be redirected to the "Objection Summary" Page.

RRB JE CBT 1 Exam Marking Scheme 

You can calculate your marks and check how much you can expect in the RRB  JE Exam with the help of the RRB JE Answer Key 2026 and follow the RRB JE marking scheme. In the CBT 1 exam, 1 mark will be provided for each correct question, and for each incorrect answer, there is a penalty of ⅓ mark.

How to Calculate Scores Using the RRB JE CBT 1 Answer Key?

After checking the answer key, candidates calculate the tentative score for the CBT 1 Exam. Candidates have to compare the answer key with the response sheet and find the number of correct and incorrect responses. Now, you have to use the formula available below:
