SSC JE 2017 Exam Dates

The exam dates for SSC JE 2017-18 has been released with the release of its notification. Let’s have a look at the tentative dates for SSC JE 2017 Exam:

SSC JE 2017 Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/- as their application fee for SSC JE 2017 Exam. Female Candidates, Ex. Servicemen and Candidates belonging to reserved categories are exempted from paying the application fee for SSC JE 2017 Exam. The fee can be paid both online (net banking/debit card/credit card) and offline (e-challan).

SSC JE 2017 Exam Pattern

SSC JE 2017 Exam will be conducted in two phases. Paper 1 will be of 200 marks and paper 2 will be of 300 marks. Both paper 1 and paper 2 are Multiple Choice Questions. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every question attempted wrong by a candidate in both the papers.According to the recent Exam Pattern, candidates appearing for the post of JE (civil), JE (quantity surveying & contract) should attempt Part A (civil & structural) of paper I & II.

On the other hand,candidates appearing for JE (electrical) need to attempt Part B (electrical) & the candidates appearing for JE (mechanical) need to attempt Part C (mechanical) of Paper I & II.

SSC JE 2017 Notification will be released in the month of October 2017. Candidates are required to visit the page regularly to remain updated about the upcoming notification for SSC JE 2017 Exam.

SSC JE 2017 Result will be declared after each stage of exam has been conducted, i.e. result for Tier-I will be declared first followed by result for Tier-II Exam. SSC JE Tier-I exam has already been conducted. Candidates can check the result that was declared by Staff Selection Commission of India on 5th June.

SSC JE 2017 Admit Card will be released 10-5 days before the commencement of each level of exam. Admit Card for Tier-I exam will be released first followed by Admit Card for Tier-II Exam. Candidates are required to download their Admit Card and carry it with themselves to the Exam Centre.
