SSC JE 2021 Important Dates

The new exam dates for SSC JE 2021 Tier-2 exam has been announced by Commission for 26th September 2021. SSC JE Tier-I exam for SSC Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contract) Examination was conducted from 22nd March to 24th March 2021. SSC JE 2021 Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/- as their application fee for SSC JE 2021 Exam. Female Candidates, Ex. Servicemen and Candidates belonging to reserved categories are exempted from paying the application fee for SSC JE 2021 Exam. The fee can be paid both online (net banking/debit card/credit card) and offline (e-challan).

SSC JE 2021 Exam Pattern

SSC JE 2021 Exam will be conducted in two phases. Paper 1 will be of 200 marks and paper 2 will be of 300 marks. Both paper 1 and paper 2 are Multiple Choice Questions. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every question attempted wrong by a candidate in both papers. According to the recent Exam Pattern, candidates appearing for the post of JE (Civil), JE (quantity surveying & contract) should attempt Part A (civil & structural) of papers I & II.

On the other hand, candidates appearing for JE (electrical) need to attempt Part B (electrical) & the candidates appearing for JE (mechanical) need to attempt Part C (mechanical) of Paper I & II.

Candidates have B.E./B.Tech. Degree or Diploma Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering from a recognised board in order to be eligible for the exam.
