SSC JE Tier-2 Exam Date 2021: SSC is conducting SSC JE 2021 Exam to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Junior Engineers Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Quantity Surveying and contract Posts for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. The posts are Group B (Non-Gazetted), in Level-6 (Rs 35400-112400/-) of pay matrix of 7th Central Pay Commission. Staff Selection Commission has announced the SSC JE Tier-2 Exam Date through a notice on 06th August 2021. As per the notice, Tier-2 Examination for"Junior Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Quantity Surveying & Contracts) 2020" will be held on 26th September 2021 (Sunday). The candidates who qualify in SSC JE Tier-1 Exam will be issued with SSC JE Tier-2 Admit Card.

SSC JE 2021 Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/- as their application fee for SSC JE 2021 Exam. Female Candidates, Ex. Servicemen and Candidates belonging to reserved categories are exempted from paying the application fee for SSC JE 2021 Exam. The fee can be paid both online (net banking/debit card/credit card) and offline (e-challan).

SSC JE 2021 Exam Pattern

SSC JE 2021 Exam will be conducted in two phases. Paper 1 will be of 200 marks and paper 2 will be of 300 marks. Both paper 1 and paper 2 are Multiple Choice Questions. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every question attempted wrong by a candidate in both the papers.According to the recent Exam Pattern, candidates appearing for the post of JE (civil), JE (quantity surveying & contract) should attempt Part A (civil & structural) of paper I & II.

On the other hand,candidates appearing for JE (electrical) need to attempt Part B (electrical) & the candidates appearing for JE (mechanical) need to attempt Part C (mechanical) of Paper I & II.
