RRB Technician Answer Key 2026 Out on 19 March, Check Official Notice

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the release date and raise objection dates for RRB Technician Answer Key 2026 on 18th March 2026 through an official notice. As per the notice, the official answer key and individual response sheets will be released on 19th March 2026. The candidates who appeared for the CBT exam for CEN 02/2025 can download their answer key from the official website using their registration number and password. 

RRB Technician Answer Key 2026

Candidates who appear in Technician (Grade 1 Signal and Grade 3) CBT Exam conducted on 6th, 9th, 10th, and 13th March 2026, can download their RRB Technician Answer Key 2026 from the Railway Recruitment Board official website https://www.rrbcdg.gov.in or from all other regional websites. Candidates have to use their registration number and password to download their respective response sheets. By using the right marking scheme, the candidates can calculate their expected marks and eligibility for the next round.

As announced, the provisional RRB Technician Answer Key 2026 will be released on 19th March 2026, and the candidates can raise objections from 19th to 27th March 2026 (10 am). Candidates have to provide a valid proof to justify their objections, with a fee of Rs. 50/- per question for objections. The link to download the RRB Technician Answer Key 2026 will be activated on 19th March 2026 by the Railway Recruitment Board at their official website https://www.rrbcdg.gov.in and all other regional websites. How to Download Railway Technician Answer Key 2026?

RRB Technician Grade 1 and Grade 3 Answer Key will be officially released at all regional websites or can be directly accessed from the above links. Follow the steps discussed below to download your answer key.

1. Visit https://www.rrbcdg.gov.in or your respective regional website.
2. On the homepage, search for "CEN 02/2025 (Tech-I and III): Exam Responses & Objection Tracker".
3. Then, upon clicking on the text reading "Click Here to View  CBT Exam Attempt & Objection Tracker", a login page opens on the screen.
4. In the login page, you have to enter your registration number and user password/date of birth as per the admission certificate.
5. Enter the captcha code and click on "Login" to view your question paper, responses and keys.
6. Download the Railway Technician Answer Key as the link will remain active for a short duration.

RRB Technician Marking Scheme 2026

The candidates can calculate their score before the announcement of results by using the marking scheme of RRB Technician Grade 1 and 3 Exam 2026.

• The computer-based test will be conducted for 100 marks each.
• There is a provision of negative marking for wrong answers; ⅓ marks will be deducted.
• Candidates will be rewarded +1 for the correct answer.

How to Calculate Marks Using RRB Technician Official Answer Key?

Step 1- Count your Correct Answers: Compare your responses (from your response sheet) with the official answer key. Count the total number of questions you answered correctly.

Step 2- Count your Wrong Answers: Count the total number of questions where your response does not match the official key.

Step 3- Apply the Formula

Tentative Score = (1 × Correct Answers) − (0.33 × Incorrect Answers)

For example, if a candidate attempts 90 questions and gets 72 correct and 18 wrong:

• Marks for correct answers: 72 × 1 = 72 marks
• Negative marks: 18 × 1/3 = 6 marks
• Final Score = 72 − 6 = 66 marks

What if there is any error on the RRB Technician Answer Key 2026?

The Railway Recruitment Board will also provide a facility to candidates to object if they find any error in the provisional RRB Technician Answer Key 2026. Candidates can raise objections and have to provide valid proof to justify their objections between 19th and 27th March 2026. You are required to pay a fee of Rs. 50 per question and upload the necessary supporting proof. If your objection is accepted, the fee will be refunded. If it is rejected, no refund will be provided. 

How to raise an objection against the RRB Technician answer key?

1. Visit the official RRB regional website
2. Click on the "RRB Technician Objection Tracker" link
3. Log in with your Registration Number and Date of Birth/Password
4. Select the Question ID you wish to challenge
5. Upload supporting documents or references (e.g., from a standard textbook)
6. Pay Rs. 50 per objection and submit the objection form.

What After RRB Technician Grade 1 & 3 Answer Key 2026?

After the answer key is released, candidates can raise objections against any incorrect answer before 27th March 2026 (10 am). After the objection window closes, RRB reviews all challenges. After reviewing all objections, RRB prepares a Final Answer Key and the result will be then declared based on this final key. The RRB Technician Cut Off 2026 will be released along with the Result 2026 declaration.
