SSC CGL Admit Card 2026, Tier 1 Hall Ticket Link & Steps to Download

SSC will release SSC CGL Admit Card 2026 on 27 September 2026 at www.ssc.gov.in. Candidates must download their hall tickets using their registration number and password once released. Check steps to download and other details from here. 

SSC CGL Admit Card 2026

Approximately 29 lakh applicants have applied for SSC CGL 2026 Exam this year, for which the Tier 1 exam will be held from 30 September to 30 October 2026 across multiple exam centres throughout the country. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the SSC CGL admit cards for all candidates who have applied for 12,256 Group B and C vacancies. 

As the exam dates have already been announced from 30 September 2026 onwards, SSC will release the admit card around 3 days before the exam date. So, the admit cards will begin to be released from 27 September 2026 onwards. The hall tickets will be available online at www.ssc.gov.in and will not be sent through any other means.

SSC CGL Admit Card for Tier 1 Examination will be released at the official website www.ssc.gov.in around 3 days before the exam starts. After downloading the admit card, candidates should cross-check all details carefully and reach the venue on time to avoid problems.

How to Download SSC CGL Tier 1 Admit Card 2026?

Candidates need their Registration ID and Date of birth to download the SSC CGL Hall Ticket. The following steps will help you download your admit card from the official website with ease. 

1. Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), i.e., www.ssc.gov.in.
2. On the SSC homepage, click on the "Admit Card" option at the top.
3. Click on the notification reading "STATUS / DOWNLOAD ADMIT CARD FOR TIER 1 FOR COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL EXAM-2026".
4. Enter your Roll No./Registration ID, Date of Birth/Password that was provided to you at the time of registration.
5. Select the preferred Area/City that you mentioned at the time of registration
6. Your admit card appears on your screen.
7. Download and take a printout of the Hall Ticket.

SSC CGL Exam Day Guidelines

The SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam is one of the most popular competitive exams in India. To make sure the exam is fair and runs smoothly, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has set some important rules for candidates. Following these rules helps you avoid problems on exam day and keeps everything organised inside the examination hall.

1. Carry a printed copy of your SSC CGL admit card to the examination centre.
2. Bring a valid photo ID proof (such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving Licence).
3. Keep two recent passport-size photographs for verification, if required.
4. Reach the centre at least 45–60 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.
5. Do not carry mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, earphones, or any electronic gadgets.
6. Wear light and comfortable clothes without metallic accessories.
7. Visit your exam centre location a day before to avoid last-minute confusion.

Candidates should carry their original photo ID proof along with the admit card when appearing for the SSC CGL exam. The details on the ID, such as name and date of birth, must match the information on the admit card or admission certificate. If the photo ID does not mention the date of birth, candidates must also bring another document, such as their Class 10 marksheet or certificate, as proof of their date of birth.
