The KVS Junior Secretariat Assistant exam in 2025 will have a Tier 1 Exam and a Tier 2 Exam. Tier-1 will be a Preliminary (Qualifying) Examination in OMR (Objective) Mode. Tier-2 will be Subject Knowledge Examination (combination of Pen-Paper and OMR-based)
KVS Junior Secretariat Assistant Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2025
The Tier-1 Exam will be a Preliminary (Qualifying) Examination in OMR (Objective) Mode. In Tier-1, each question carries 3 marks. There will be negative marking for wrong answers in exam, i.e., 1/3rd marks (1 mark) will be deducted for each wrong answer. The time duration of the exam will be 2 Hours.

KVS Junior Secretariat Assistant Tier 2 Exam Pattern 2025
Tier-2 Exam will be Subject Knowledge Examination (combination of Pen-Paper and OMR-Based). The test will be of 2½ hours duration. In an objective-type question in the exam, each question carries 1 mark, and there will also be negative marking for wrong answers, i.e., 1/4th marks (0.25 marks) will be deducted for each wrong answer.

KVS Junior Secretariat Assistant Skill Test 2025
- Typing Test: Only on a computer, Net typing speed English-35 w.p.m. or Hindi-30w.p.m.
- Computer Proficiency Test: (Bilingual–English/Hindi) MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint Point and internet. The CPT will be of 100 marks (Candidates will have to obtain a minimum of 40% marks in CPT)
