KVS ASO Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2025

KVS Assistant Section Officer Exam will include 2 papers, i.e., Tier 1 and Tier 2. It is important for candidates to know the syllabus as well as the exam pattern to make a good study plan. KVS ASO Selection Process 2025

The selection process for Assistant Section Officer will consist two stages, i.e., a tier 1 exam and a tier 2 exam. There will be neither an Interview nor a skill test. Hence, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in Tier-2 only.

KVS Assistant Section Officer Exam Pattern 2025

The KVS Assistant Section Officer exam in 2025 will have a Tier 1 Exam and a Tier 2 Exam. Tier-1 will be a Preliminary (Qualifying) Examination in OMR (Objective) Mode. Tier-2 will be the Subject Knowledge Examination (combination of Pen-Paper and OMR-based) 

KVS Assistant Section Officer Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2025

The Tier-1 Exam will be a Preliminary (Qualifying) Examination in OMR (Objective) Mode. In Tier-1, each question carries 3 marks. There will be negative marking for wrong answers in the exam, i.e., 1/3rd marks (1 mark) will be deducted for each wrong answer. The time duration of the exam will be 2 Hours. 

KVS Assistant Section Officer Tier 2 Exam Pattern 2025

Tier-2 Exam will be Subject Knowledge Examination (combination of Pen-Paper and OMR-Based). The test will be of 2½ hours duration. In an objective-type question in the exam, each question carries 1 mark, and there will also be negative marking for wrong answers, i.e.,  1/4th marks (0.25 marks) will be deducted for each wrong answer.
