IDBI JAM & Assistant Manager Eligibility Criteria 2026
The candidates must hold the required eligibility parameters to get recruited for the post of Assistant Manager and Junior Assistant posts as discussed below. In case candidates do not fulfil the required eligibility parameters, their application forms will be rejected at any stage of the selection process.
Education Qualification
Junior Assistant Manager (JAM Grade ‘O’)- Bachelor’s degree with minimum 60% for General, EWS and OBC candidates (55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) in any discipline from a University recognized/ approved by the Government / Govt. Bodies viz., AICTE, UGC, etc. Passing only a diploma course will not be considered as qualifying the eligibility criteria
Assistant Manager (Grade ‘A’)- Graduate from a recognised university. Passing only a diploma course will not be considered as qualifying for the eligibility criteria.
- The candidate should hold a Graduation Degree from a recognised University or Institution to apply for Assistant Manager posts. The candidate should have a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate stating that he/ she is a graduate.
- Candidates are expected to have proficiency in computers.
- Proficiency in the regional language will be preferred.
Age Limit (as on 01/02/2026)
Junior Assistant Manager (JAM Grade ‘O’)- The candidate should be between the ages of 20 to 25 years to be eligible to apply for Junior Assistant Manager posts. The upper age relaxation will be provided as per the government norms.
Assistant Manager (Grade ‘A’)- The candidate should be between the ages of 21 to 30 years to be eligible to apply for Junior Assistant Manager posts. The candidate must have been born not earlier than March 02, 1996 and not later than March 01, 2005 (both dates inclusive).

Desirable- Professional qualifications like CMA / CFA / ICWA/CA/ JAIIB, CAIIB etc.

IDBI Junior Assistant Manager Salary 2026
The candidates will first be selected for a 6 month training period with a stipend of Rs. 5000/- per month and then will be promoted to 2 months of Internship Period with a stipend of Rs. 15,000/- per month. Once the probation period is complete and selected candidates are recruited for Junior Assistant Manager Grade ‘O' posts, for which the pay scale ranges between Rs.6.14 lakh to Rs.6.50 lakh per annum.
The starting Basic Pay for Assistant Manager is Rs. 48,480/- per month in the pay scale of Rs. 48480-2000(7)-62480-2340(2)–67160–2680(7)-85920(17 years).
