The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the RRB ALP answer key for its CBT 1 exam. The online examination was conducted from 25th to 29th November 2024 for the recruitment of 18799 Assistant Loco Pilots posts. The RRB ALP answer key link is activated now at https://www.rrbcdg.gov.in which contains the Question Paper, Responses and the answer keys. It would help the candidates to have an estimation of the marks to be scored by them in the examination & have an idea about qualifying for the exam The Railway Recruitment Board has mentioned there is a negative marking of ⅓rd mark for each incorrect answer, therefore, accordingly, calculate your approximate marks. Steps to Download RRB ALP Answer Key 2024
Candidates who have appeared in the RRB ALP CBT 1 Exam can download and check their ALP Answer Key & Response Sheet from the official website by following the below-discussed steps.
- Visit the official website of your respective regional Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
- Look for the link related to the "Assistant Loco Pilot Answer Key" under "Latest Announcements" or "Important Links".
- Click on the link and a new login page appears on the screen.
- Enter the login credentials required and after clicking on “Login” your RRB ALP Answer Key appears.
- Download the answer key and response sheet pdf and cross-check the questions attempted by you.

RRB ALP Answer Key Raise Objection Process
The candidates can raise objections if there is any issue related to questions, options and answer keys from 5th December to 10th December. The applicable fee for raising an objection was Rs.50/- + Bank Service Charges per question and the fee will be refunded if the objection is correct. The payment can be done through All Bank Rupay Debit Cards and SBI VISA/Master debit cards, Net Banking and UPI. The final ALP answer key will be released once the objection window is closed.
Steps to Raise Objection to RRB ALP Answer Key
- Go to the ‘Objection’ tracker.
- Candidates need to select the question ID against which they want to raise the objections.
- Select the desired language.
- Candidates are also required to mention the reason why they want to raise objections along with documentary proof.
- Objections without a valid reason will be rejected.
- To save the objections click on the "Submit" button.

RRB ALP Marking Scheme
After checking the RRB ALP Answer Key and responses, the candidates will be able to calculate the estimation of the scores. For calculating the marks, candidates need to follow the marking scheme released by the board.
- For the correct answers, add one mark. If any answer is wrong then deduct ⅓rd marks
- Add all the marks for correct answers
- Add all the marks for incorrect answers
- In the end, deduct total marks for correct answers with the incorrect answers. This will give a probable score.
