The RRB ALP Syllabus 2024 for the CBT 1 exam includes 4 subjects namely Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness. RRB ALP CBT 2 Syllabus 2024
RRB ALP CBT 2 syllabus is divided into 2 Parts: Part A and Part B. The Part 1 is divided into 4 subjects.

RRB ALP CBT 2 Part-B is only a qualifying test in nature and shall have questions from the various trade syllabus as prescribed by the Directorate General of Training (DGT) which has been discussed above for Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Automobile, etc trades.
RRB ALP Exam Pattern 2024
RRB's first stage for Assistant Loco Pilot posts of CBT and the second stage of CBT are online objective-type papers. The first stage of CBT consists of 4 sections that need to be completed in 60 minutes. The second stage of CBT is conducted in two parts. Part A will constitute 4 sections with 100 questions in total that need to be completed in 90 minutes. Part B will constitute 75 questions in relevant trade that need to be completed in 60 minutes.

RRB ALP CBT 1 Exam Pattern 2024
The 1st stage of CBT for Assistant Loco Pilot exam is common and consists of 75 questions for 75 marks on Mathematics, Mental Ability, General Science, and General Awareness. There is a negative marking of ⅓rd mark for each incorrect answer.

The CBT-1 exam will only be a screening exam for shortlisting eligible candidates for CBT-2 based on their marks (normalized) and merit. The marks of CBT-1 will not be considered while preparing the final panel.
RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam Pattern 2024
The 2nd stage of CBT for Assistant Loco Pilot posts has two steps: Part A and B. Part A has four subjects - Maths, Basic Science and Engineering, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness. Part B consists of questions from the relevant trade.

RRB ALP CBAT (Computer-Based Aptitude Test)
The candidates need to score a minimum score of 42 marks in each of the test batteries to qualify. The ALP merit list will be drawn only from amongst the candidates qualifying in the Aptitude Test, with 70% weightage for the marks obtained in Part A of Second Stage CBT and 30% weightage for the marks obtained in Computer Based Aptitude Test.
