The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting the KVS NVS Tier 2 (Objective + Descriptive) Examination from 27th to 31st March 2026 for all Tier 1 qualified exam candidates. The KVS NVS Exam is conducted in offline mode in Pen and Paper Format. A total of 70 questions were asked for a total of 100 marks.

• Mode of Exam – The exam will be held in pen-and-paper (Descriptive) and OMR-Based mode.

• Questions Asked in Exam – In the KVS Tier 2 Exam, questions will be asked from the subjects for which candidates have applied.
• Negative Marking – In OMR-based objective-type questions, 1 mark will be given for each correct answer, and there is negative marking. 1/4 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.
• Time Duration – The duration of the exam is 2½ hours
