The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting the KVS NVS Tier 2 (Objective + Descriptive) Examination from 27th to 31st March 2026 for all Tier 1 qualified exam candidates. The exam is being conducted in 2 shifts each day (from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm) for PGT, TGT & PRT, and other non-teaching posts.

KVS NVS Phase 2 Exam Structure 2026
The KVS NVS Exam is conducted in offline mode in Pen and Paper Format. A total of 70 questions were asked for a total of 100 marks.
- Mode of Exam – The exam will be held in pen-and-paper (Descriptive) and OMR-Based mode.
- Number of Questions – 70
- Total Marks – 100
- Questions Asked in Exam – In the KVS Tier 2 Exam, questions will be asked from the subjects for which candidates have applied.
- Negative Marking – In OMR-based objective-type questions, 1 mark will be given for each correct answer, and there is negative marking. 1/4 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.
- Time Duration – The duration of the exam is 2½ hours
