The exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for the primary classes (1st to 5th) and upper primary classes (6th to 8th). TG TET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
The candidate’s eligibility in terms of educational qualification for the post of teacher for Classes 1 to 5 and Classes 6 to 8 is as follows:

Steps to Apply for TGTET 2026 Exam

- Visit the official website of the Department of School Education, Government of Telangana, i.e., https://tgtet.aptonline.in/tgtet/ or https://schooledu.telangana.gov.in/
- On the home page, look for the “Apply for TG TET June 2026” and then choose the “New Registration” option.
- Fill in the details required to generate your respective Application Number and Password.
- Now log in using your credentials to fill out the application form.
- Enter your respective personal and academic information along with the exam preference details.
- Upload all the documents, such as your recent passport-size photograph and scanned signature.
- Pay the TGTET application fee through Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or UPI.
- Download and save the application form for further use.
TG TET 2026 June Exam Pattern
- The TGTET exam will include multiple-choice questions.
- The exam will be held online in computer-based mode.
- Every question carries 1 mark in the computer-based test, i.e. for every correct answer, candidates will get 1 mark.
- There will be no negative marking in the exam, i.e. no marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
- The duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.

TS TET Syllabus 2026
