Candidates who appeared in the RRB Group D Computer-Based Test (CBT) Examination conducted from 27th November 2025 to 10th February 2026 are eagerly awaiting their qualifying status. RRB Group D Result 2026 is expected to be released by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) in the 4th week of June 2026 at all regional websites. The result will be released separately for all zones. Qualified candidates in the CBT exam will be shortlisted to appear for the next stage — the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Over 1,08,22,423 (10.82 lakh) candidates applied for the exam against 32,438 Level 1 vacancies and around 6 million appeared in the exam. The RRB Group D Result will be released along with the roll numbers of qualified candidates, zone-wise cut off marks, and scorecards. Based on the latest update following the Telangana High Court orders, the result is now expected in the 4th week of June 2026.

Railway Recruitment Board (RRBs) will release the RRB Group D Result 2026 for the CBT Exam in PDF format for each zone separately. Once the results are released in June 2026, the PDF links for all regions will also be shared below, along with the number of candidates shortlisted for each zone.

How to Check Railway Group D CBT Exam Result 2026?
The candidates can check their qualifying status by searching for their roll number in the list of qualified candidates. Follow the steps detailed below-
To Check Zone-wise Merit List PDF:
- Candidates have to visit the regional website of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) you have applied.
- Go to the Result section of the homepage and click on the link provided for “CEN-RRB-08/2024 (Pay Level-1 Posts): CBT Result & Score Card” in the Results section.
- The Railway Group D Result & Merit List PDF appears on the screen.
- Download the result PDF and search for your roll number in the merit list.
- If your roll number appears on the screen, congratulations, you are eligible to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
To Download Individual Scorecard:
- Visit rrb.digialm.com.
- Log in using your Registration Number and Date of Birth.
- Download your scorecard showing your raw marks, normalised marks, category,
- and qualifying status.
- Save the scorecard for future reference — it is required at Document Verification stage.

Score Normalisation for RRB Group D 2026
Since the CBT was conducted in multiple shifts across several months, RRB uses a percentile-based normalisation method to ensure fairness across all shifts.
How Normalisation Works
- Marks obtained in each shift are transformed into a percentile scale ranging from 0 to 100
- The percentile score reflects the percentage of candidates who scored equal to or below a given score in that shift
- This normalised score is used to prepare the final merit list — not the raw score
- Candidates scoring the same raw marks in different shifts may receive different normalised scores
- Your Score Card will show BOTH your raw marks and normalised marks. The normalised score is what determines your final ranking and shortlisting status.
Minimum Qualifying Marks for RRB Group D 2026
Candidates must score the minimum qualifying marks in the CBT to be considered eligible for shortlisting. The category-wise qualifying marks are:
- UR/EWS- 40%
- OBC (Non Creamy Layer)/SC- 30%
- ST- 25%

What Next After RRB Group D CBT Result?
The Railway Recruitment Board will conduct the PET after the first stage of the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates who clear the PET successfully will be called for the Document Verification process. They will be able to download the RRB Group D admit card PET, as well as the RRC Group D DV admit card, from the official website of Indian Railways.
