Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) have announced a total of 15762 vacancies for PRT, TGT, PGT, Librarian, MTS and administrative roles. Over 15 lakh candidates have applied for the exam and are now waiting for the release of KVS NVS Admit Card 2026. The admit cards will be released 3 to 4 days before the scheduled exam date with complete information about the exam day.

KVS and NVS Admit Card 2026

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is held responsible for conducting the common recruitment examination for NVS and KVS recruitments. The exam will be conducted in offline mode on 10th and 11th January 2026 in two shifts each day at multiple exam centres across the country. The KVS NVS shift 1 is scheduled from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and shift 2 from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

2. On the homepage, Click on the “Direct Recruitment Drive 2025” or “Admit Card” link on the homepage.
3. A new page appears on the screen.

KVS NVS Exam Pattern 2026

The exam pattern for KVS and NVS is common for all posts (except for Multi-Tasking Staff). The duration of exam is 2 hours (120 minutes), and candidates have to attempt 100 questions. Each correct answer is marked for 3 marks and there is a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.
