• Candidates with B.Tech/B.E. with specialisation in Science and Mathematics must have secured at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/SEBC/PwD).
• Final-year graduation students may also apply provisionally, subject to passing their qualifying exam before admission.

Language Requirement

Candidates must satisfy one of the following Odia language criteria:

• Passed Odia as MIL (Mother Tongue) up to the HSC (Class X) level.
• Passed Odia in a special HSC-standard examination conducted by BSE, Odisha.
• Passed the HSC Examination of BSE, Odisha in Odia medium.

Residential Requirement

Applicants must be permanent residents of Odisha. A valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) is mandatory at the time of admission.

Candidates are required to pay a fixed amount of Application fee to complete the registration process for the Odisha B.Ed Entrance Exam. Online payment of the registration fee must be made using a credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI.

1. Visit the official portal of Higher Education Department, Odisha www.samsodisha.gov.in.
2. Click on ‘New Student Registration’ and create an account using your name, mobile number, email ID, and date of birth. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile.
3. Log in using your credentials and captcha.
4. Fill in the Common Application Form (CAF) with personal, academic, and category details.
5. Upload required documents, photograph, signature, mark sheets, category certificate, etc.
6. Pay the application fee online (approx. Rs. 500 for General; Rs. 300 for SC/ST candidates).
7. Submit and take a printout of the application for future reference.
