The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has conducted the TNSET exam to determine the eligibility of candidates for assistant professor positions in various universities and colleges throughout the state. The eligibility test was successfully held from 6th to 9th March, with two shifts each day, and thousands of candidates appeared in the test. How to Download TNSET 2025 Answer Key?
Candidates who appeared for TNSET 2025 Exam can download their TNSET Answer Key 2025 by following the simple steps mentioned below.
- Visit the official website of Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) at https://trb.tn.gov.in/
- Go to the “Latest Updates” section on the homepage appearing on the left side of the page.
- Now click on “Display of Recorded Responses and Provisional Answer Keys on the Website for inviting challenge(s) from Interested candidates”.
- Download the TNSET Answer Key 2025 PDF and calculate your score.
- If you find any objection in the provisional answer key, you can also challenge the answer key within the stipulated period.
Raise Objection for TNSET 2025 Answer Key
The TN TRB Board has released the tentative answer key with the master question paper in PDF format on its official website. Candidates can submit their objections online only through the TRB website till 27th March 2025 (6 pm). Objections must be based on the master question paper (question number and options) and supported by proof from standard books only. Guides, notes, or internet references will not be accepted. Objections in any other form, like email or post, will not be considered.
Steps to Raise Objection Against TNSET 2025 Answer Key
Candidates who appeared in the examination can follow the steps to raise an objection, if they find any mistakes in the questions or in the answers.
- Visit the official website of www.trb.tn.gov.in or click the provided link on the article to begin the process.
- Enter your Registration Number or Enrollment Number, Date of Birth (DOB), Exam date and the Batch for your exam session.
- Enter the Captcha on the portal screen for verification.
- Click on the Submit, then an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- After OTP verification, you will be directed to the objection page where you can check the Master Question Paper, raise objections, upload supporting documents, and click “Save and Submit” to complete your submission.
How to Calculate Marks with TNSET Answer Key 2025?
Candidates will count their marks when the answer key is released on the Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Portal (TN TRB). As we know, there is no deduction for any incorrect attempt, so counting of marks is very easy.
- Count your correct answers – Firstly, count the questions that you answered correctly.
- Calculation – To calculate the total score, multiply your correct answers by 2.
If a candidate answers 30 questions correctly, they will score 30 x 2 = 60 marks.
TNSET 2025 is the state eligibility test, where candidates have to score the minimum cutoff set by the conducting body. Candidates must obtain a minimum passing mark of 40% in both Paper I and Paper II if they belong to the general category. Candidates from the other categories must obtain a minimum of 35%.
