The selection process of UIIC AO has been changed this year. Now, there are three stages.
Preliminary Examination → Main Examination + Descriptive Test → Interview

UIIC AO Probation Period
Selected candidates who are medically fit may be appointed as Administrative Officer (Scale-I) on one-year probation. The probation period may be extended at the discretion of UIIC. During probation, officers may have to undergo theoretical and practical training and must pass the non-life Licentiate Examination conducted by the Insurance Institute of India for confirmation of service. Failure to clear the examination within the extended probation period can result in termination of service
UIIC AO Guarantee Bond
Selected candidates have to give an undertaking to serve UIIC for a minimum of five years, including the probation period. If a candidate resigns before completing the bond period, the candidate may have to pay:
- Liquidated damages equivalent to the actual gross salary paid, subject to a maximum of one year's gross salary; and
