Education Qualifications
- Candidates who have completed the GNM Nursing course and have their certificate are eligible for Staff Nurse posts.
- Those who have done and completed their BSc/MSc Nursing Degree from a recognized institution/university in India are also eligible for the post.
- Must be a registered Nurse and Midwife under the respective State Nursing Council.

Medical Standards
Some visual standards are necessary to be fulfilled for RRB Nursing Officer Recruitment. The medical standard for the post is C1 which is specified below.
B-1 Standard: Must be physically fit in all respects.
- Distance Vision: 6/9 in one eye and 6/12 in the other, with or without glasses (lens power not exceeding ±4D).
- Near Vision: Sn. 0.6 in both eyes, with or without glasses.
- Additional requirements: Color vision, binocular vision, night vision, and mesopic vision tests.
