Eligibility Criteria

Only those candidates who fulfil the required eligibility in terms of educational qualifications and age limit are eligible to apply online for RRB Paramedical posts.

Educational Qualification (as on 14/10/2026)

Nursing Superintendent	Certificate as Registered Nurse and Midwife after completing a 3-year General Nursing and Midwifery course from a school/institution recognised by the Indian Nursing Council, or B.Sc. Nursing
Dialysis Technician	B.Sc. plus Diploma in Haemodialysis, or B.Sc. plus two years of satisfactory in-house training/experience in Haemodialysis work in a reputed institution. B.Sc. in Dialysis Techniques, Dialysis Technology or Renal Dialysis Technology is also acceptable.
Health and Malaria Inspector Grade II	B.Sc. with Chemistry as the main/optional subject, and One-year Diploma in Health/Sanitary Inspector, or One-year National Trade Certificate in Health Sanitary Inspector awarded by NCVT.
Audiologist & Speech Therapist	Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Audiology, Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) from a recognised university and registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
Pharmacist (Entry Grade)	Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy (Allopathic) from a Central or State Government recognised university/institute and registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, or Doctor of Pharmacy from a recognised university/institute and registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
Radiographer X-Ray Technician	10+2 with Physics and Chemistry, and Diploma in Radiography/X-Ray Technician/Radiodiagnosis Technology of two years from a recognised institute. Certain equivalent B.Sc./degree qualifications in radiography, medical imaging and radiation technology are also accepted as specified in the notification.
ECG Technician	Candidates must have 10+2/Graduation in Science along with a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in ECG Laboratory Technology, Cardiology, Cardiology Technician or Cardiology Techniques from a reputed institution. The certificate should be of a minimum one-year duration.
Optometrist	B.Sc. in Optometry, or Diploma in Ophthalmic Technician of 3 to 4 years duration. Registration with the concerned Council/Licensing Body is required.
Laboratory Assistant Grade II	12th (10+2) in Science, and Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT), or Certificate course in Medical Laboratory Technology equivalent to DMLT, subject to the conditions specified in the notification. B.Sc. Medical Lab Technology is also accepted as an equivalent qualification.
