Directorate General, Border Security Force (BSF), has released the BSF Answer Key 2026 on 21 September 2026 for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted for the posts of Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Stenographer and Head Constable (HC) Ministerial under the 2024 examination. Candidates who appeared in the exam can now log in with their Roll Number and User Password to check their responses and the correct answers to all questions asked in the exam.

BSF Answer Key 2026: How to Calculate Your Score?

The answer key can be used to calculate an expected score, but candidates should follow the marking scheme prescribed for their particular examination.

Use this basic formula:

Expected Score = Marks for Correct Answers − Negative Marks for Incorrect Answers

For example, if a candidate has:

• 70 correct answers
• 15 incorrect answers
• 15 unattempted questions

and the applicable marking scheme awards 1 mark for a correct answer and deducts 0.25 marks for an incorrect answer:

Estimated Score = Marks for Correct Answers − Applicable Negative Marks

Expected Score = 70 − (15 × 0.25)

Expected Score = 66.25 marks

What After BSF Answer Key 2026?

After the release of the answer key, the objections submitted by the candidates will be analysed. After that, BSF will prepare and release the result and cut off marks to proceed with the subsequent recruitment stages as applicable to the post.
