PSTET Cut Off 2026, Punjab TET Minimum Qualifying Marks

The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Punjab, has successfully conducted the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) to assess candidates’ eligibility for teaching in classes 1 to 8.  The candidates who have appeared for the PSTET exam for Paper 1 and Paper 2 must check the cut-off to understand the minimum qualifying score. PSTET Cut Off 2026

PSTET Result 2026 for Papers 1 and 2 has been released on 7th April 2026. As the PSTET is an eligibility-based examination, the PSTET Cut Off 2026 has not been officially released by the authorities. The cut-off in the PSTET exam refers to the minimum qualifying marks that must be secured by a candidate to qualify and receive the PSTET certificate.

Punjab TET Cut Off 2026

The PSTET Minimum Qualifying Marks play an important role in determining a candidate’s eligibility for PSTET certification. The candidates have to achieve at least 60% i.e., 90 out of 150 marks. However, there is relaxation for those from the reserved categories. Please find below the category-wise minimum qualifying marks for the PSTET Exam required for candidates to compete in the examination.

PSTET Cut Off Marks Validity

PSTET Certificates are valid for seven years after issuance. After obtaining the PSTET Certificate, the candidate can apply for the post of primary and/or upper primary teacher for 7 years. To improve their scores or crack the PSTET Cut Off Marks, candidates can take as many attempts as they like.
