Through this exam, 103 vacancies for various Group A and B posts will be filled, for which a three-stage selection process will be conducted. JPSC 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates willing to apply for JPSC Recruitment 2026 must be aware of the eligibility criteria required for the vacancies. As mentioned in the JPSC Notification 2026, below we have discussed the minimum eligibility criteria in terms of education qualification and age limit.

Education Qualification

To be eligible, a candidate must possess a degree from any of the Universities that are incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India, or from other educational institutions that are established by an Act of Parliament or have been declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

The link will be deactivated on 20th February 2026 at www.jpsc.gov.in. Candidates who havent applied yet must submit their application forms before the link gets deactivated.

Steps to Fill JPSC Application Form 2026

  • Go to the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) home page and click on the “Online Application” tab.
  • Click on the link for “Combined Civil Services Examination-2026.” If you are a new user, select “Click Here for New Registration” to create your profile using a valid email ID and mobile number.
  • Log in with your generated Registration ID and Password. Enter your name (as per Matriculation certificate), father’s name, date of birth, and educational qualifications accurately.
  • Upload scanned copies of the following in the prescribed formats:
    Photograph: Recent passport-size colour photo (15–25 KB, .jpg/.jpeg).
    Signature: Scanned signature in running hand (10–15 KB, .jpg/.jpeg).
  • Log in again after one working day (typically after 12:00 PM) to complete the payment.
  • Review all details carefully before the final submit, as no changes are permitted afterward. Once submitted, download and print the Registration Slip and application form for future reference

Jharkhand JPSC 2026 Selection Process

The final merit list will be prepared based on overall marks obtained in the Main (Written Examination) and Interview Test, except marks obtained in Paper –I. The selection procedure for Jharkhand JPSC 2026 Exam consists of the following three stages-

Stage 1- Preliminary Examination: Objective type [Qualifying]

Stage 2- Mains Examination: Written Test [Scoring]

Stage 3- Interview [Scoring]

Note- Final merit will be prepared based on Mains + Interview marks.

Jharkhand JPSC 2026 Exam Pattern

JPSC Prelims Exam Pattern 2026: The question papers will be set both in Hindi and English language. The examination shall comprise two compulsory papers of 200 marks each. The questions will be of objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).
