RVUNL Junior Engineer Selection Process 2026

The selection of candidates for the post of Junior Engineer will be based on the marks scored by them in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates who will qualify in the CBT Exam will be shortlisted for the Document Verification

• Computer-Based Test (CBT): The Computer-Based Test (CBT) is the first stage of the selection process, where candidates will be assessed through the CBT exam with 200 objective-type multiple-choice questions of technical knowledge and general aptitude.
• Document Verification: Candidates who qualify the CBT exam will be called for Document Verification. Where they must provide all original certificates and supporting documents for verification.

RVUNL JE Exam Structure 2026

• RVUNL JE exam is a computer-based “common written competitive exam” conducted in online mode
• The questions shall consist of objective-type questions (multiple choice questions).
• The time duration of the exam is 2 hours
• There will be negative marking for each wrong answer
• The exam is divided into 2 parts, which carry 60% and 40% weightage.
• Part A – 60% weightage
  The questions will be asked in a specific engineering discipline, and the level of examination is Degree

Rajasthan RVUNL JE Salary Structure 2026

Candidates appointed for Junior Engineers-I (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) posts will serve 2 years Probationer Trainees, and during the period they will be paid Rs.23,700/- per month. On successful completion of the probation training period, they will get a salary at Pay Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as Basic Pay i.e., Rs.33,800/- per month.
