AIIMS NORCET 10 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to appear for the NORCET 10 Exam 2026, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria as specified by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
Educational Qualification
Candidates can check the educational qualifications that must be fulfilled by them as mentioned below.
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/state Nursing council-recognised Institute or University
OR - B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognised Institute/University
AND - Registered as Nurses & Midwives with the State/Indian Nursing Council
OR - Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board or Council
- Registered as Nurses & Midwives in the State/Indian Nursing Council
- Two Years’ Experience in a minimum 50-bedded Hospital after acquiring the above educational qualification
Age Limit
Candidates who will be applying for the AIIMS NORCET 10 2026 exam must have a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum age of 30 years. However, age relaxation for the reserved categories in the upper age limit will also be provided. Candidates can check the age relaxation as per their categories from below.

AIIMS NORCET 10 Selection Process 2026
The selection of candidates for Nursing Officer posts is based on candidates’ performance in the Preliminary and Mains examinations. Both stages will be held in an online computer-based mode. Candidates who qualify for the Stage 1 exam will be called to appear for the Stage II exam.

Candidates who qualify for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test-10 (NORCET-10) will be appointed for the Nursing Officer posts at Pay Level 07 in the Pay Matrix pre-revised Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/-, Group-B for AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS as per available vacancies in the respective Institutes.
