The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national-level exam conducted twice a year by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It is used to evaluate candidates’ eligibility for teaching positions. This year, lakhs of candidates appeared for the CTET January 2024 Exam, which was held on January 21, 2024, in offline mode (OMR-based). The CBSE has declared the results online, and candidates can check their CTET Result 2024 using their roll number. Those who get 60% or above in Paper 1 are eligible to teach classes I to V, and qualifying Paper 2 makes one eligible to teach classes VI to VIII. School management may relax the qualifying percentage for SC / ST / OBC up to 55%.

CTET Result 2024 for Paper 1

Steps to Check CTET Result 2024
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) have released the the CTET Result along with marks of the candidates at www.ctet.nic.in. The candidates can either check their result from the direct link provided above or from the official website by using their roll number. The steps to check CTET 2024 Result are as follows-
- Visit the official site of the CBSE Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) at www.ctet.nic.in.
- Click on the “CTET JANUARY – 2024 Result” link on the homepage.
- A new page opens with url https://ctet.nic.in/ctet-january-2024-result/, where you have to again click on CTET JANUARY – 2024 Result.
- Submit your Roll Number as per the admission certificate. Click on “Submit”.
- Your CTET Score Card 2024 appears on the screen.
- Download and check marks scored by you in the eligibility test this year.
CTET 2024 Minimum Qualifying Marks
The candidates appearing in CTET will be issued with a mark sheet. The Candidates securing 60% (General category) and 55% (OBC/SC/ST category) and above marks will be issued an Eligibility Certificate with a validity of a lifetime period.

Validity Period of CTET Certificate
(i) The Validity Period of the CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be a lifetime from the date of declaration of the CTET result 2024 for all categories.
(ii) There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can make to acquire a CTET Certificate. A person who has qualified for CTET may also appear again to improve his/her score.
(iii) A candidate can get a duplicate copy of the Marks Statement or Eligibility Certificate by paying the prescribed fee by way of a Demand Draft in favor of the Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, drawn on any nationalized bank, payable at Delhi. Format and Charges applicable for applying for duplicate marks statement/certificate are available on CTET’s official website i.e. www.ctet.nic.in.
