After a long wait, the exam schedule for undergraduate-level posts has been officially announced through an official notice released at all regional websites. The Computer-Based Test for the undergraduate level CBT 1 exam will be conducted from 7th August to 8th September 2025 in multiple shifts. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced 11,558 vacancies through RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Exam 2025 out of which 3445 vacancies are for undergraduate-level posts for which CBT 1, CBT 2, Skill Tests will be conducted to select eligible candidates.
RRB NTPC Exam Date 2025 Out
Around 63.26 lakh candidates have applied for 3445 vacancies of Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Clerk Cum Typist, Trains Clerk posts. The CBT Exam is to be held across the country at various exam centres. Firstly, the board will release RRB NTPC Application Status, informing candidates about their application acceptance status, then city intimation will be released (10 days before the scheduled exam date) and lately admit cards will be released 4 days before the exam date. RRB NTPC Undergraduate Exam Date 2025
As the number of candidates is higher, the exam is stretched over one month, starting from 7th August and ending on 8th September 2025. The exam will be held in 3 shifts each day and the duration of each shift will be 90 minutes, i.e. 1.5 hours. The exact date and shift will be informed through the candidate’s city intimation slips.

RRB NTPC 2025 Reporting Time and Exam Duration
The confirmed shift timings for the RRB NTPC 2025 Undergraduate Exam will be announced with the release of city intimation slips. The CBT 1 exam will be conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board, there shall be three shifts each day.

RRB NTPC CBT 1 Exam Pattern 2025
The RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam will consist of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions. A total of 100 MCQ-type questions will be asked for a total of 100 marks. The time duration of the exam will be 90 minutes (1.5 hours). There will be a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each incorrect answer.
