RRB NTPC CBT 1 Exam Date 2025 Soon for 12167679 Candidates

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is set to conduct the RRB NTPC 2025 exam to recruit 11558 candidates for graduate-level posts (Levels 5 and 6) and undergraduate-level posts (Levels 2 and 3). Candidates who have applied for these positions are now awaiting the announcement of the RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam date. Around 1.2 crore candidates have applied and are waiting for the exam date announcement. 

RRB NTPC Exam Date 2025

Although the official notice has not yet been released, it is expected that the Indian Railway will conduct the CBT 1 exam in May-June 2025 and the complete schedule will be uploaded on all regional websites. The official notice for the RRB NTPC Exam Date 2025 will also include release dates for the admit card and exam city intimation.

This year, a total of 12167679 candidates applied for the NTPC exam, out of which 5840861 candidates have applied for graduate-level posts, and 6326818 applied for 12th-level posts. This year, the Railway has announced 8113 graduate-level and 3445 undergraduate-level vacancies for the posts of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC).

RRB NTPC 2025 Vacancy and Applicants

RRB NTPC 2025 CBT 1 Exam Date

The RRB NTPC exam is conducted in rounds:  CBT 1 and CBT 2. The CBT 1 exam will be conducted in May-June 2025 to shortlist the candidates for the CBT 2 exam. Candidates whose applications are accepted will be able to participate the CBT 1 exam and candidates who pass the CBT 1 will appear in CBT 2. The shift timings, exact exam dates, city intimation dates, and admit card release dates will be officially released along with the RRB NTPC Exam Date notice.

RRB NTPC CBT 1 Shift Timings

Though the confirmed shift timings for the RRB NTPC 2025 Exam will be announced with the release of city intimation slips. However, as per past trends of exams conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board, there shall be three shifts each day.

RRB NTPC CBT 1 Exam Pattern 2025

The RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam will consist of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions. A total of 100 MCQ-type questions will be asked for a total of 100 marks. The time duration of the exam will be 90 minutes (1.5 hours). There will be a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each incorrect answer.

RRB NTPC 2025 CBT 1 Admit Card

The RRB NTPC Admit Card 2025 will be released by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRBs) on the official website at http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/. The admit cards for the RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam will be released 4 days before the CBT exam along with the complete details, including exam date, exam timing, venue, etc.
