Education Qualification

Candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognised University / Institute, including Integrated Dual Degree (IDD). Candidates with Professional qualifications in Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant, Engineering, or Medical are also eligible to apply for Bank of Baroda LBO Recruitment 2026.

Age Limit

Bank of Baroda LBO Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The candidates will be selected through the following stages-

• Online Examination- The first stage of the selection process is an online test, which will be conducted only for the candidates whose applications are accepted. Qualifying online test is mandatory to move forward to the next stage of selection.
• Language Proficiency Test- The candidate must have Proficiency (reading, writing and speaking) in the Local Language of the State applied for. This stage is mandatory to qualify to appear for the next stage.
• Psychometric Test- Candidates will be required to undergo a psychometric assessment as part of the selection process. This test is conducted to determine the candidate’s alignment with the Core Values of Bank of Baroda and to assess their aptitude for sales-related roles.
• Group Discussion (GD)/Personal Interview (PI)- The minimum qualifying marks/percentage of marks for GD/PI would be 60% for the General Category and 55% for the Reserved Category

Bank of Baroda LBO 2026 Exam Pattern

The online exam will consist of 120 questions from English Language, Banking Knowledge, General / Economic Awareness, and Reasoning Ability & Quantitative Aptitude. The total duration of exam is 120 minutes (2 hours) with sectional timing of 30 minutes for each section. There is also a negative marking of 0.25 (1/4th) mark.

Bank of Baroda Local Bank Officer Salary 2026

The pay scale for Local Bank Officer will be Rs 48480- 2000 (7)- 62480-2340 (2)-67160-2680 (7)- 85920 with an initial pay scale of Rs. 48480. Along with basic pay, the selected candidates will also get Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), Special Allowance & Special Pay, and Transport Allowance.
