SSC GD Exam Date 2026 Out, Exam Starts from 27 April, Check Official Notice

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is a recruiting body responsible for conducting the SSC GD Exam for Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles. As per the official notice released by SSC, the SSC GD Exam 2026 will be conducted in four phases starting from 27th April 2026 onwards. The detailed phase-wise exam schedule has been notified by the officials.

SSC GD Constable Exam Date 2026 Out

Around 48 lakh candidates have applied for the SSC GD 2026 exam; therefore, to make the examination process smooth, the officials have decided to conduct the exam in multiple phases. SSC GD Phase 1 will begin from 27th April and conclude on 2nd May, Phase 2 will be from 4th to 9th May, 3rd phase from 18th to 23rd May, and the last phase is from 25th May to 30th May 2026. The exact exam date for each candidate will be informed through exam city intimation slips, which will be released around 8 to 10 days before the exam starts.

SSC GD 2026 Exam Schedule & Dates (Week-wise)

The SSC GD Exam will be conducted on multiple days from 27th April till end of May 2026. For this, SSC has also provided the SSC GD Exam Week Preference facility and the online window to select your preferred week to open from 11th (3 pm) to 15th April 2026 (5 pm).   • Phase 1 or Week 1- 27th April to 2nd May 2026
  • Phase 2 or Week 2- 4th May to 9th May 2026
  • Phase 3 or Week 3 18th May to 23rd May 2026

SSC GD Constable Exam Structure 2026

SSC GD Constable examination will be conducted in computer-based mode, and questions will be asked from the topics of General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/ Hindi.
