DSSSB Assistant Superintendent Exam Date 2026 Out for 93 Posts, Exam Starts from 1 July

The educational qualification, age limit, and all other eligibility criteria for the post will be determined as on 16th September 2025, which is the last date to apply. Candidates can check these requirements as mentioned below in the table.

• Educational Qualification: Candidate must have completed a Graduation from a recognized university.
• Age Limit (as on 16/09/2025): Candidate’s age should not exceed 30 years and the age relaxation is as per the government norms.

DSSSB Assistant Superintendent Application Fee 2025-26

The application fee must be paid online through SBI e-pay to complete the application form. The following category candidates are exempted from paying the application fee: Women, SC/ST candidates, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen.

DSSSB Assistant Superintendent Selection Process 2026

The Selection Process for Assistant Superintendent consists of three stages:

• Computer-Based Test
• Physical Measurement Test/Physical Efficiency Test
• Document Verification

Delhi Assistant Superintendent Exam Pattern 2026

There will be one computer-based examination, which will be conducted in Delhi.

• There will be 200 questions asked from various subjects.
• Each question carries 1 mark
• The duration of the examination is 2 hours
• 0.25 marks will be subtracted for every incorrect attempt.

Physical Measurement Test/Physical Efficiency Test

Physical Standards for Male Candidates

• Height: 165 cm

1. Relaxation: 5 cm for residents of hill areas (e.g. Garhwalis, Gorkhas, Kumaonis, etc.)
2. Proof needed: Hill Area Certificate from DC/DM/SDM/Tehsildar

• Chest: 81 cm (normal), 85 cm (expanded)

1. Relaxation: 5 cm for hill area candidates
2. Proof needed: Same as above

Physical Standards for Female Candidates

• Height: 157 cm

1. Relaxation: 5 cm for residents of hill areas
2. Proof needed: Hill Area Certificate from competent authority

Physical Endurance Test (PET) for Male

• Race: 1600 meters in 6 minutes 30 seconds
• High Jump: 3 feet 6 inches (3 attempts allowed)
• Long Jump: 13 feet (3 attempts allowed)

Physical Endurance Test (PET) for Females

• Race: 800 meters in 4 minutes 30 seconds
• High Jump: 3 feet (3 attempts allowed)
• Long Jump: 9 feet (3 attempts allowed)

DSSSB Assistant Superintendent Salary 2026

The post of Assistant Superintendent is categorized as a Group ‘B’ post under the General Central Services, which falls under Pay Level 6, with a pay scale ranging from Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400.
