SSC GD Constable Exam Date 2026 Out, Exam in 4 Phases, Starts from 27 April

The Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC GD Exam Date on 11th April 2026 for its online examination. As per the official notice, the SSC Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026 will be conducted from 27th April to 30th May 2026 in 4 phases (weeks). The detailed week-wise schedule is discussed below, along with the official schedule.

 SSC GD Constable Exam Date 2026 Out

Around 48 lakh candidates applied for the SSC GD exam, for which the 1st stage of the CBT exam is scheduled in 4 phases/week from 27th April to 30th May 2026. SSC GD Constable examination will be conducted in computer-based mode, and questions will be asked from the topics of General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/ Hindi.

The SSC GD Exam will be conducted in 4 different weeks from 27th April to 30th May 2026. For this, SSC has also provide the SSC GD examination week Preference facility and the online window to select your preferred week to opens from 11th (3pm) to 15th April 2026 (5 pm).

SSC GD Constable Admit Card Release Date 2026

SSC will release the city intimation slip in 7 to 10 days before the exam, informing candidates about their allotted exam city and exam date. After that, the admit card will be released 3 to 4 days before the actual exam date, containing important details such as the exact exam centre address, reporting time, and exam-day instructions.

SSC GD 2026 Exam Schedule & Dates (Week-wise)

As per the SSC GD Constable New Exam Notice, the examination will be conducted over the following four phases (weeks), which are as follows;

• Phase 1 – 27th April to 2nd May, 2026)
• Phase 2 – 4th May to 9th May 2026
• Phase 3 – 18th May to 23rd May 2026
• Phase 4 – 25th May to 30th May 2026
