RRB Section Controller New Vacancy 2026 Out, 119 Approved Vacancies, Notification Soon

The Ministry of Railways has released a notice approving 190 Section Controller vacancies to be recruited in 2026. The recruitment drive for Section Controller posts is going to be conducted for shortlisting graduate candidates across the country. As a result of the previous recruitment that was recently announced, the Railways has now come up with fresh vacancies giving an opportunity to the candidates who didn’t qualify in the previous exam.

RRB Section Controller Recruitment 2026

The selection process for Section Controller posts includes a Computer-Based Test, followed by CBAT and a skill test (if required). The selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs. 35,400/-, and the job location can be anywhere in the zone they appeared for.

RRB Section Controller Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold the minimum eligibility in terms of education qualification, age limit, and nationality. The required criteria are as mentioned below.

Education Qualification- Candidates must have completed their graduation in any field from a recognised university or board.

Age Limit- Candidates’ minimum age should be 20 years, and maximum age should not be more than 33 years to be eligible to apply online for the Railway Section Controller Vacancy 2026. The upper age limit for the reserved category will be provided as per government norms.

RRB Section Controller Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection of the eligible candidates will be done through multiple stages of the recruitment process. Candidates have to appear and qualify in each stage to get selected for the Section Controller post in Indian Railways.

Stage 1- Single-Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT)

Stage 2- CBAT

Stage 3- Document Verification

Stage 4- Medical Examination

The final merit list will be based on candidates’ performance in the written examination.
