The selection process for Section Controller posts includes a Computer-Based Test, followed by CBAT and a skill test (if required). The selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs. 35,400/-, and the job location can be anywhere in the zone they appeared for.

RRB Section Controller Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the minimum eligibility requirements in terms of educational qualifications, age limits, and nationality. The required criteria are as mentioned below.

Education Qualification – Candidates must have completed their graduation in any field from a recognised university or board.

3. Complete the registration: 
   • Click on the “New Registration” link.
   • Enter your basic details, including your name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.
   • An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number for validation.
   • Use the generated registration ID and password to log in.
4. Fill out the application form:
   • Log in using your new credentials and fill in the detailed application form.
   • Provide your personal details, educational qualifications, category, and other requested information.
5. Upload documents:
   • Upload your recent photograph and scanned signature as per the instructions.
   • Upload your Aadhaar verification and other required certificates.
   
6. Pay the application fee online using a debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
7. After reviewing all the entered information, submit the form.
8. Download and print a copy of your submitted application for future reference.

The selection of the eligible candidates will be done through multiple stages of the recruitment process. Candidates have to appear and qualify in each stage to get selected for the Section Controller post in Indian Railways.

RRB Section Controller 2026 Salary

A controller earns a salary based on the 7th Pay Commission, with a starting basic pay of Rs 35,400/- and is placed in Pay Matrix Level 6. The total monthly salary, including Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transportation Allowance (TA), and in-hand salary can be around Rs. 60,000.
