RRB NTPC CBT 2 Marking Scheme
RRB NTPC CBT 2 carries 120 marks, with the following marking pattern:
- +1 mark for every correct answer
- −1/3 mark for every incorrect answer
- 0 marks for unattempted questions
- Marks are normalised across shifts/sessions to adjust for varying difficulty levels
Steps to Calculate Marks Using the RRB NTPC Answer Key
- For the correct answers, add one mark. If any answer is wrong, then deduct 1/3 marks
- Add all the marks for correct answers
- Add all the marks for incorrect answers
- In the end, subtract the total marks for correct answers from the total marks for incorrect answers. This will give a probable score.
To find your actual score out of the questions attempted, use this formula:
{Raw Score} = {Total Correct}) – {Total Incorrect x ⅓}
Example:
If a candidate attempts 100 questions and gets 85 correct and 15 incorrect:
Score = (85 × 1) − (15 × 0.33) = 85 − 4.95 = 80.05 marks
- Positive Marks: 85
- Negative Marks: 15 X 0.33 = 4.95
- Raw Score: 85 – 4.95 = 80.05
What’s the next step after the RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 Answer Key?
After the RRB NTPC Graduate Answer Key (CEN 06/2025) is released, the board will analyse the objections/challenges and prepare the result according to the final answer key. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will declare the result with the roll numbers of candidates who have qualified in the CBT exam. Along with the result, cut-off marks and scorecards will be released on the official website.
