UP Police Constable Selection Process 2026

The selection process for Constable posts in the UP Police involves several stages as outlined in the notification. The final merit list for Constable posts will be prepared based on the marks obtained by candidates in the written examination.

Stage 1 - Written Examination: The UP Police written examination will consist of a total of 150 questions, carrying 300 marks.

Stage 2 - Document Verification and Physical Standard Test (PST): Based on the merit list of the written examination, qualifying candidates will be called for Document Verification and the Physical Standard Test.

Stage 3 - Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Candidates who qualify in the PST will be shortlisted for the Physical Measurement Test, which includes a running test.
