TS TET 2025 January- Exam Highlights

The online application portal for accepting the online application forms for TS TET 2025 was opened on 7th November 2024 on the official website https://schooledu.telangana.gov.in/ and the last date to apply online is 20th November 2024. Steps to Apply for TS TET Application Form 2025
Candidates can apply online for TS TET 2025 from the official website https://schooledu.telangana.gov.in/ by following the below step-by-step process.
- Visit the official website of the Department of School Education (DSE) i.e. https://schooledu.telangana.gov.in/.
- Before the registration process, candidates have to pay the application fee as per the number of papers they are appearing for.
- After successfully paying the examination fee, candidates will be issued a payment receipt with a journal number mentioned on it.
- Fill out the registration form by entering relevant details like the journal number, date of payment, the candidate’s date of birth, and other required details.
- Review all the entered information and click on the submit button. A confirmation message will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number.
- Print out the TS TET application form, and keep it safe for future reference.
TS TET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Before submitting the TS TET 2025 Application Form candidates should ensure that they fulfill the required eligibility for the exam. The candidate’s eligibility in terms of educational qualification for post of teacher for Classes 1 to 5 and Classes 6 to 8 are as follows:
Educational Qualifications for Paper I (Classes 1-5)
- A minimum of 45% in Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent). The minimal score for candidates who are SC, ST, BC, or differently abled is 40%. And, in the case of candidates who have already passed or been admitted to the D.El.Ed. / D.Ed. course prior to the publication of these guidelines, pass the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, the 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), or the 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks. However, in the case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Educational Qualifications For Paper II (Classes 6-8)
- A bachelor’s degree in the oriental language (or its equivalent), a degree in literature, a postgraduate degree in the relevant language, and a language pandit training certificate or B.Ed. with the relevant language as one of the methodologies, with regard to language teachers.
- B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks. In the case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education).
- B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks. In respect of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education) in case of the candidates who have passed or were admitted to the B.Ed., course prior to issue of these guidelines.
- B.E. or B.Tech with a minimum of 50%. Candidates who are SC, ST, BC, or differently abled must receive a minimum of 45% of the marks to pass the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or B.Ed. (Special Education) program.
- Four years of B.A.Ed. or B.Sc.Ed., with at least 50% of the marks; for candidates who are SC, ST, BC, or differently abled, the minimum is 45%.
TSTET Exam Pattern 2025
- The TS TET exam will include multiple-choice questions.
- The exam will be held online in computer-based mode.
- Every question carries 1 mark in the computer-based test, i.e. for every correct answer candidates will get 1 mark.
- There will be no negative marking in the exam, i.e. no marks will be deducted for wrong answers.

TS SET Syllabus 2025
The TS SET Exam consists of 2 papers. Paper 1 for primary classes (1st to 5th) and Paper 2 for upper primary classes (6th to 8th) classes.
