SSC JE Paper 2 Exam Date 2026 Out, Tier 2 CBT Exam on 7 April

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the exam date for the SSC Junior Engineer (JE)Tier 2 Exam. According to the official notice released on the official website www.ssc.gov.in, the SSC Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination 2025 Paper-II will be conducted on 7th April 2026 (Tuesday). A total of 15607 candidates qualified in the SSC JE Tier 1 and are now eligible for the Tier 2 exam.

SSC JE Paper 2 Exam Date 2026 Out

Only the candidates who have been declared qualified in the Tier 1 exam will be eligible to appear for the SSC JE Tier 2 Exam 2026. The SSC JE Paper 2 exam will be held in online mode, consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions. Questions will be specific to the candidate’s chosen engineering discipline (Civil & Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical). All the exam essential details like exam time, exam venue, reporting time, and more will be released along with the admit card.

SSC JE Exam Tier 2 City Intimation 2026

The city intimation slip for the SSC Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination 2025 will be released 10 days before the exam to inform candidates about their allotted exam city. This slip helps candidates know the location of their examination city in advance so they can plan their travel and accommodation accordingly.

SSC JE Exam Tier 2 Admit Card 2026

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the SSC J Admit Card 2026 for the Tier 2 exam
4 days before the exam date on the official website of the SSC. Candidates will need to download the admit card online and carry a printed copy to the examination centre on the exam day.

SSC JE Tier 2 Exam Pattern 2026

The SSC JE Paper 2 exam will be held in online mode, consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions. Questions will be specific to the candidate’s chosen engineering discipline (Civil & Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical).

• A total of 100 questions will be asked for a total of 300 marks.
• A 3 mark will be given for correct answers, and 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answers.
• The time duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
