Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is going to conduct the SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level- 2025 Tier 2 examination for all the candidates who have been declared qualified in the Tier 1 Exam. As per the official notice, the SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam Date 2026 has been announced for 10th April 2026 (Friday). Through the recruitment exam, SSC aims to fill 3131 vacancies for LDC, JSA, and DEO posts.
SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam Date 2026 Out
A total of 39901 candidates have been declared qualified in the Tier 1 exam and now have to appear for the SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam 2026. The SSC CHSL Mains Exam is designed to test candidates on their mathematical, reasoning, language, and computer skills. The exam will be conducted in two sessions on the same day, with Session I covering objective questions and Session II including the Skill Test/Typing Test.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Shift Timing 2026
The SSC CHSL Mains Exam 2026 will be scheduled in two sessions on the same day and will be conducted in online mode. Candidates can check the shift timings from the table below.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam Pattern 2026
Tier-2 will be conducted in two sessions – Session-1 & Session-2, on the same day. The questions will be set in English and Hindi except for Module-2 (i.e. English Language and Comprehension module) in Section 2.
Tier II will include the following three sections, each with two modules:
- Section-1: Module-I: Mathematical Abilities and Module-II: Reasoning and General Intelligence.
- Section-2: Module-I: English Language and Comprehension and Module-II: General Awareness
- There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-1, Section-2, and Module-I of Section-3.
